Very small shower with no room for a sink .Sink was in the bedroom but it was adequate.

The shower is tiny. All the facilities in the bathroom are so old. The flush in the toilet doesn't work, you need to push it in a certain way to be able to flush. There was no soap for washing hands. My room was on the ground floor,right next to the reception. I could literally hear everything the receptionist did, every conversation etc. Also there are construction works in the street so it was quite noisy.

The staff is very nice. Pillows and a bed are comfortable

Very patchy wifi - almost impossible to use in my room. This was the only downside, but as I was in Brighton for a work trip, it did affect my stay. Other than that, I'd have no hesitation to come back.

Room needed some TLC. Bathroom needs revamp. Curtains need replacing and lampshades need dusting!!! Also headboard had been fixed with cable ties!! A little time and money spent on this room could be a little gold mine

Host was very friendly. Location was perfect. We went to watch the marathon and location was spot on. Great nights sleep bed very comfy. Room good size plenty of storage.

Strange smell in room. Could have been coming from old leather furniture. Shower curtain was in a weird place, right across centre of Bath. Had to tuck it over shower rail to get it out of the way (I'm not overly tall so took a few throws!).

Although room was clean and well presented, Cleanliness of bathroom could have been better to start with. This issue was addressed early in stay. Better lighting in evening at front of property.

Good prompt response to requests made for extra towels, hairdryer and local information. Request for attention to aspect of facilities attended to promptly.

It's a little difficoult to talk to someone from the house, maybe it was the weekend, but I didn't always find someone available and the number provided on the wall is not reachable on whatsapp, which makes it complicated for foreigners. I found no hairdryer in the room and there was noone I could ask for one. Luckily I was visiting my brother and I could ask him to bring me one. If that hadn't been the case, I don't know what I would have done xD The room doesn't get cleaned, so it's ok for a couple nights, but not for longer, in my opinion. If you don't always have someone available to support guests, rooms should be fully equipped.

15 minutes walk from the Hove station.😀 The room was nice, the bed comfortable and I found bodywash and shampoo in the bathroom. Big tub, big bathroom. Lovely.

The only complaint is that the ensuite was tiny and you had to practically climb over the toilet to get into the shower but it was clean and plenty hot water

Cleanliness of the room was not great, needed a deep clean. The bathroom layout was not ideal, the toilet was squeezed in behind the oversized sink and the door could not fully open either.

A dirty blanket on the bed (everything else was lovely and clean) I could feel the springs in one side of the big bed but I managed to sleep well on the other side.

Reception staff a little off hand but it was out of season . The room was quite hot and reception was closed by then so we couldn’t ask about turning heating down . Window not easy to open .

Excellent location very close to the seafront and to Church road, Hove, with lots of cafes and restaurants . Very quiet street . Walking distance from Hove station . Good tea and coffee making facilities , Wi-Fi was free and TV was fine . There was a hairdryer . It was more or less expected for a 3 star guest house . Very reasonably priced . Fine for a short stay . Ours was only one night so not too bothered .
