Breakfast started too late for me on the weekend (8am), but I did have to be up very early and should have checked it when I booked.

My room was nice and big. The bed was comfy and I slept well. The TV worked well. The bathroom was big and the shower was good. Staff were really friendly.

Broken tiles in bathroom which had been 'repaired' but didn't look the best. The reception area was strange, it didn't have a very welcoming feel.

The staff were friendly enough. Room was OK, the beds were not too bad. Bathroom could have done with a bit of repair work.

It was dingy and shabby. We paid £100 to stay in this dump! Fan in room didn’t work and it was a really hot day…. Asked at reception and there was nothing they could do. Hotel is very tired and not right in the city centre as expected.

I have stayed here twice now and, it has to be said, the staff aren't very welcoming. Reception staff are blunt and unfriendly. The staff at breakfast ignore you unless you go out of your way to engage them

The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from the centre. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast was acceptable. Beds are comfortable.

Bathroom was not good, the shower wouldn't stay in the holder, water trickled, and spouted out of the shower head from everywhere but where it should have come out of, had to ask for a second towel as only 1 in the room, no had towels, biscuits pathetic and not enough milk sachets. Front staff when my friend checked in was very unpleasant

Organisation, asked for twin room, had 2 singles into 1 bed, we had to separate the beds, Was told £5 to park, when we arrived was told no parking , on this day

The bathroom has some patches which were quote badly done, needs to look at the finishing of the work.

The hotel is in prime spot close to the centre, there is big NCP parking next to the hotel. check-in was easy and quick. breakfast was good with varieties. The Manager gave a room to work after check-out in the morning to take work calls till late.

Outside appearances were not what you got on the inside, as undergoing some renovation works. On site parking is a available, but we used NCP behind which is secured at 10pm until 5.30 pm. Very reasonable rate considering 10 minutes walk from crucible and theatres.

Rooms are spacious bigger than some main companies, the bed was huge double, and comfortable for me, but wife had disturbed night, light sleeper, doors in corridors and rooms banging. Next door could be heard talking as communicating door doesn`t offer sound proofing, but ended before midnight. Breakfast was a good spread of all cooked, cereals, toast, yoghurts, fruit, and fruit drinks and coffee on a self service basis.

There were no staff available to speak to face to face when we had an issue with something. Reception staff were not informative at all. We had to ask about breakfast, timings, where it was etc.

The breakfast was nice, and the room was comfortable.

On arrival we were told 1 lift wasn't working and the other one was ' going very slowly ', so we used the stairs. We went in our room and only had 1 towel for 2 people, 6'ish' squares of loo roll, and no handsoap.

We asked at reception and was given all the items we needed, toilet roll, additional towel, and handsoap. The bed was huge and comfy. The breakfast was good. For the price of the room you really can't complain.
