Just one little hiccup, the hot water supply in shower died, but owners offered us a shower in the main house which we accepted and this overcame the immediate problem. Owner also reduced the price on check out which more than compensated us for any inconvenience and was very much appreciated by us. Thank you Deb!!

Great location in a lovely old world village. Very close to pubs & restaurants. The building was remodelled & quaint. Breakfast was amazing with several options for a cooked breakfast. We loved our stay here. Room was spotlessly clean, bed so comfortable, lovely linens and so quiet which provided a great nights sleep.

Could of done with extra easy chair.

Location good for leaving car and using public transport, breakfast choice ample, could of had yogurt or fruit as an extra, plenty of local resturants and eating establishments to choose from.

I had just the one night's stay at Ship Stores Guest House but had everything I needed for a comfortable night. The Suffolk breakfast was perfect. I particularly liked the location and I will return when the weather is better to take advantage of the cosy outdoor seating area.

Place was really clean and comfortable. Debbie was there to welcome on arrival and was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was also really tasty! The accommodation is right beside the main area of Clare which is really nice and has some great little shops. Would 100% stay again.

Central to Clare, although road work was about to start parking was fine . Very quiet beautifully decorated in a small self contained conversion behind the main building. Grade 2 listed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen smelt delightful

Room entrance off pleasant courtyard. Spacious and comfortable room. Fridge with fresh milk and fairly priced supplies. Sufficient free parking. Clean and well maintained. amazing property. I loved how it smelt so new from the moment we walked In. I loved how each little annex had its own table and chairs outside, and larger seating area should you want it. I loved the fresh milk in the fridge. UHT are the Bain of my life travelling around so this was a huge plus! the little extras in the mini fridge were great! we didn’t use much but had we arrived without our own supplies they would have been a godsend! the breakfast, wow!! so nice, with branded sauces, a plus for us!
