An old hunting lodge/country house about 5 miles from the main town Portree. Well furnished with classic wood panelled breakfast room and modern conservatory restaurant with extensive views over the loch. Luxurious room. Nice walk to local island with ancient ruined chapel. Very friendly staff-especially Sue in the breakfast room who was so helpful. An excellent stay celebrating a special anniversary

Our family of 8 had to booked 4 bedrooms just to accommodate all of us. I wish they have a bigger room for big groups.

Dinner was great- a little too pricey though. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. A peaceful place with beautiful views around. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We enjoyed our stay even for just one night.

Room was nicely appointed and had great views of the Loch. Breakfast in the main dining room was wonderful each day. Dinners were fantastic as well. Great food and service. Everyone was nice and friendly. The sitting room with the fireplace was great as well. Great soundtrack playing in the background during the afternoons and meals. Beautiful grounds and a short walk to Isle of Columba, which was neat to see. Used it as a base for seeing the sights on Isle of Skye. Would recommend to anyone going in the area.

This hotel is what you need when you are planning to go to the Isle of Skye. High hygiene standards, great rooms, kind personel and an excellent restaurant. Would absolutely recommend this place for couples!

Slightly disappointing to have been left waiting over 30 mins to check out as we had to leave early. However the team did prepare us a meal to take with us as we would not be able to have breakfast.

A great hotel in a wonderful location. The food in the restaurant is superb and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Garden room that was spacious, comfy, clean and well equipped.

Nothing at all, this place is fantastic!

I cannot rate this hotel enough. We are already planning our trip back. The hotel itself is an amazing building with great history, the rooms are exceptional, the decor is done really well and feels special when you open the door. The bathrooms are amazing, the shower is particularly good. The staff there could not be nicer, they were really cheery, helpful and engaged in conversation. We ate there in the evening and for breakfast. The food is outstanding, even if you are not staying in the hotel, go there just to eat. It is amazing! The location of the hotel is superb, with easy links to anywhere on the island.

The place is perfect!!

We went for a weekend break, just 2 days away together after Xmas. Skeabost House Hotel is a fantastic "get away from it all" rest bite. Everything was brilliant, from the food in the lovely dining room, our deluxe room was what it said, totally luxurious, brekie was magic. The place is just tremendous. Staff are 100%

All staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptionally delicious (for dinner, I'd recommend the fish and chips or ox cheek) and we did not have to wait long to be served. The views were stunning and the building/archetecture was exquisite. The staff felt genuine with their customer interactions and certainly appeared to enjoy their jobs. My fiance and I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

The breakfast could of been better as the dinner was excellent, but perfectly edible, and the price was very expensive mind you it was new years eve so I'll forgive them for this 😉

Hotel surpassed expectations, again Location excellent, room spacious, comfortable and clean. Good facilities. Staff polite helpful and friendly. Restaurant food was amazing breakfast was brill Would definitely book again and would recommend.
