No one seemed to know what they was doing. I tried booking mini spa break but got passed to 3 different departments and just ended up booking a room via booking.com

Spa area was nice however I witnessed the cleaner wiping floor with a guest towel. When I asked about it she said they have no mops . Bar was expensive £36 for bottle prosseco and £2.50 for bag of crisp . Restaurant doors being wedged open with 2 spoons very unhygienic .

Check-in was a nightmare taking over 10 mins, and a queue was forming behind us. The blind in one of our rooms was stained, and the music was thumping through the floor. The shower wasn't powerful at all.

The bed was comfy, and it was pet friendly.

Washbasin in room was damaged and the plug mechanism didn't work. The lighting took a bit of working out. There was a noticeable spider thread covered in dust near the window.

Pleasant receptionists, comfortable room, unrestricted buffet breakfast with wide choice.

We was put in the corner for dinner which felt like it was on purpose, there was lots of space but we found ourselves in the corner away from people

We stayed for two nights, We really enjoyed the facilities and the staff were absolutely brilliant! The best staff I’ve ever had to deal with!! One of the best places I’ve stayed

Food and amenities are very expensive for what you get, eg: £50 for 5 breakfasts, swimming £10 each for 1 hr swim. I think breakfast should be included in the price at least

Staff were amazing, and very pleasant, rooms were good and a good size.

The heating didn’t work in the room but the staff offered to change my room for me. I decided to stay where I was and put the oiled filled radiator on that was in the room. TV could do with being bigger and have ITV1 it was freeview and ITV was missing.

I liked how spacious the room was.

Single beds were very narrow and tea tray basic. Lighting was terrible. Need more ceiling lights in the rooms. Terrible room acoustics - heard upstairs banging about and outside our room throughout the night. The restaurant looks great, clearly has had a recent decor upgrade however the staff all need training. Young, inexperienced, didn’t know the menu or wine list. Could hardly pronounce half of it. The lighting was way too bright and it lacked any ambiance. Apart from the ridiculously loud music being played via the tv screens in the bar. The food was basic and very overpriced. £20 for a rump steak and £30 for a sirloin? You’d expect a good fillet for that in most restaurants with decent service. Some drinks you had to go and order at the bar..? Overall, not great value and shocking service. The spa area is okay but it’s more of a pool with a jacuzzi, small sauna and a steam room. Lighting again was too bright which made it feel like a mini leisure centre when the children were allowed in with their float devices.

The room was good value for money. Large and relatively new bathroom albeit very standard. EV charging on site which was very handy and free to park. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Better selection than expected even though it was all self service. And went on until 10am which is good on a weekend.

Smell of sewage on the landing on the first floor, expensive bar costs due to a captive audience, generally cold throughout the hotel and too many dogs lowering the overall cleanliness, their owners may love them but others don’t!

The room i stayed in i think was 234 , i informed the lady on reception when leaving of some of the issues in this room . 1. Air con/heater control has no instructions ,i tried everything to get a little heat in the room but nothing seemed to do the trick . 2. Room is full of light switches that don't do anything and the room has a few bulbs out. as no light switches have labels spend ages going around the room flicking switches. 3. The toilet system is leaking so this caused a constant dripping through the night ,even with the toilet door closed was still could hear it constantly.(poor nights sleep) 4. generator noise ,either from a room in the corridor or maybe on the roof ,but this changes pitch when under more use ,this was also constant through the night . 5. Heated towel rail ,have no idea how you turn that on ? It's a shame because on the whole this could be a great room ,but due to a really poor night's sleep it really is not worth the £138 i paid . Not even a Breakfast included in the price like majority of Hotels nowadays ,that also charge less for a room for the night.

The room its self was as described and had all the facility's listed. The leisure centre was good ,but i was not told i would need to change in a small room with no lockers and store my personal belongings including my phone and wallet in the office in reception. I feel i should of been informed before i had to pay an extra £10 on top of my £138 i had already spent on a room . I had to undress in a room with 2 other men ,but 1 of these men had got 2 children with him ,1 of these children was a young girl and there was nowhere for anybody to change with any dignity. This i feel is very poor service.

The food in the restaurant was extremely overpriced for what it was and average at best. I paid less for a much better quality pizza in central London. Booking via booking.com or any other third party does not give you free access to the spa facilities. This costs an additional £10 per adult which I would have known before booking. The room rate was good but once you add spa access and food in the restaurant, it becomes extremely expensive. Then if you add breakfast on top of that, the costs add up again. The spa facilities were good but a bit dated and not the best. I wouldn't have minded so much if they were free, but for £10 I felt a bit short-changed.

The Executive twin room was very large and perfect for a family of four. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was huge. It was also very quiet which was perfect for a tired family.

They had an issue with housekeeping and at check in time there was a line 40 people long and no rooms were ready. We were given a free drink and asked to wait. Aside from that it was nice. We were only passing through but did enjoy the pool for a bit and the rooms were comfy.
