Candy is a perfect staff, gave all the informaon we needed beforehand. Check in was easy, location is great very close to stansted airport.

I didn't sleep well as the corridor is to the front door and my room was outside the door so you can imagine cars ( taxis) pulling up in front of the place and the door opening and closing. Also to note the taxis from this hotel is not cheap I made this hotel my choice thinking it was close to the airport which in theory it is. But because it's a village there aren't many drivers available which I think peaks the demand to allow them to charge ridiculous costs no Uber in the area or bolt. Cindy kindly gave me links for the taxi firms but it was £45 pound which I consider expensive for a 8-9 minute journey 10 min max. So I didn't budget for £90 on reflection I had known I would have stayed at the airport and just paid more. Otherwise I couldn't fault the room parking etc it was just the issue of the taxi costs.

It feels more like a home than a hotel.

Easy to find, ample free parking. East access - door code. The house is clean and well decorated and the kitchen is big and has a mic and table and cupboards plus cutlery and crockery for self catering. The bedroom was an okay size, wi-fi was good and heating was instant. Ensuite was clean and pleasant to use.

Could do with a bit of an upgrade, redecoration. Old TV in wall, lots of extension leads and cables looking a bit messy, just needed a bit of a refreshment.

The whole process was made so easy and there's no need to worry about arrival/check in times. Need was comfy, bedding etc great, had a great sleep. Lovely garden to sit in that's a sun trap when sunny!

Walls a little thin.

A great place to rest your head for a night or two. Candy the owner has thought of everything: 2 x oil heaters in the room, free travel adaptors, towels, and extra blankets. It felt like home. Candy even showed me the bus timetable to get to the airport - saving me time and money.

I didn't like the lights shining through the curtains from the off-taking planes and there was also a light just below our window. Also, you could hear everything from the next room.

We got easily into the house and everything was as descriped.

Good directions easy to find. Easy to follow entry instructions, Cindy was very helpful, provides information for your travel to the airport, car parking is available if required .

Thin walls, other guests arriving late at night or being noisy, and door was loud each time it was opened and shut. Not the fault of the owners, but may occur during a visit given the nature of the accomodation. You get what you pay for, which is good value but doesn't offer the best of nights sleep.

Convenient place to stay before a flight, comfortable enough for the price paid.

Very clean and comfortable bathroom, lovely common kitchen with a terrace and a garden. Good sound insulation.

Not much hot water, this didn't affect the shower, but I washed my face in cold water, I left the shaving till I was home. Not really a problem, but others might find this bad.

I am one of those difficult customers, I stayed 4 nights while covering night shift at the airport, the owner put me in a better room that I wouldn't be disturbed in, this was much appreciated and turned out better than I hoped for, the area was quiet, not far from the airport but not affected by the noise from the aircraft, I slept soundly and was much better at my job because of it.

The cleaning wasn't the best. I haven't had tea or coffee in my room cause the kettle was beyond dirty.

Candy was the best one! She is so sweet and warm, I really loved how she made me feel at home.

Very easy to find with onsite, off-road parking. Key code sent several days before. Good communication and easy to arrange a late check-in. Local shops close by.

Transport from Stansted airport to hotel costs almost as much as the room. The local bus doesn't run after 6 pm or on Sundays and when it does run is erratic, infrequent and unreliable. Airport taxis are 26.50 pounds for a four mile ride and you can't walk because there is no sidewalk/pavement/footpath along the narrow road.
