Unfortunately room 8 is above reception and you can hear the music bass from reception n the room. Heard it come on just before 8am I was already awake but it probably would of annoyed me if I wasn't :) Stairs creek very very loud you can hear it from the rooms

Great location for pubs and shops and main chester is 5 minute drive. Staff was amazing especially Daniel on front desk, very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Room was of good quality, had everything we needed also tea coffee was restocked on request very promptly free cot was available on request and already put in our room also a blanket was provided. Very comfy bed good working shower Breakfast is quite frankly amazing. To an excellent quality and staff cannot do enough for you

It was nice to have parking right outside of the property. Kerbside appeal was inviting. Walking distance to the city was perfect for my friend and myself as we are both walkers. Breakfast choices were great as were the staff, very friendly and accommodating.

The Location was perfect, short stroll into town, and ideal for the Couple of locations we needed to visit, there was parking on site so it was really convenient to do the trips and come back in between. The Staff were most welcoming and their communication about the room, the Breakfast time and everything else was excellent, we had a welcome cup of coffee and cake on arrival and it was a most relaxed atmosphere. there was fresh water and milk in the fridge in our room on arrival so we could make our own tea a coffee. Lovely people.

Breakfast was excellent , good products and service and carefully executed. Rooms slightly dated , but comfortable and very clean, excellent and plentyful hot water . I understand rooms now to be refurbished. Quiet location. In the price range , compares well if not better than all the other hotels I have stayed in Chester over recent years. I certainly will stay at this venue again.

Good location with good choice of food and drink options close by. City centre an easy 20min walk. Check in was easy by the friendly girl on reception. Room was clean and warm with a good size en-suite bathroom . Breakfast was VERY good, the porridge with honey and drambuie was delicious!

The food was beautiful, and the location fot chester was great. A 5 minute drive into the town, and about 20 minutes drive. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable. It was a great place to stay.

The car park could be challenging for a less confident driver.

The location was quiet and convenient for the city centre with good local shops and restaurants on the doorstep.. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and of a good standard. We were surprised when we were told it's having a refurb this month as we were very happy as it is.
