The dining room arrangements were rather chaotic, although the staff were always pleasant and polite. If food is listed on the menu in a hotel, I think the items should always be available.

The cleanliness wasn't the best, there was a few damages to the hotel, needs a bit of tlc.

Breakfast was very nice but unfortunately was rather cold, would have been more enjoyable if hot.

Location was lovely but was expecting to be able to walk in the 21 acre grounds which was not possible unfortunately. Bit wary of catching the bus to Stratford and returning on a very busy road but understand that's not really a reflection on the hotel. Hotel reception and terrace/ bar area was lovely and the Hotel smelt gorgeous.

I hope the hotel can do more to improve their environmental impact. Why plastic cups in plastic bags in the bathroom? A hang over from Covid perhaps, that need to go. Also dispensers for shower gel and shampoo would be better than small bottles.

We really liked how the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The family room was spacious and the WiFi was fast. We enjoyed playing pool and table tennis in the games room but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the swimming pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will remember the hotel if we are in the area again.

Was supposed to be dog friendly but I felt the complete opposite. I had to sign an A4 size disclaimer saying that I must keep my dog quiet and not be a nuisance to other guests!!!! It is a shame that did not apply to the noisy screaming children. Waited an hour one the Saturday evening for cheese and biscuits after being served by a rather surly young woman. No toiletries in bathroom on arrival. Sparkling water in room instead of still???

Breakfast was very good as was the bar food. We did not try the restaurant. Good location and a dog walk on site.

Love the location. Surrounded by fields. Perfect for travelling with the dogs. Bed was so uncomfortable too hard. Room was ok though. Hotel itself really nice and lovely pool. Staff were friendly. Very helpful.

Good quality bedding in the room, but pillows too soft and so my neck was aching in the morning as not able to get comfortable. (So perhaps option of firm pillows available in the wardrobe or something?) More tea/coffee sachets in rooms. Also please just have a fuller glass partition in bathroom for shower & not a shower curtain that just clings to you whilst you’re trying to shower! (Yuk)

our second visit to the hotel. As previous the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel in general is clean warm and welcoming. Our bedroom excellent. The grounds were large and well kept. Ideal if you are a dog owner.

As we were carrying quite big pieces of luggage it was hard carrying them down the stairs to our floor as the lift only took us part way. Make sure to book dinner ahead of time as we were turned away.
