Breakfast was a little disappointing. Buffet food only just warm, plates look grubby & need replacing. Coffee like I've never tasted before nor would ever wish to taste again!

Clean comfortable room, very quiet, excellent shower. Large car park - plenty of room for my car & trailer. Friendly & welcoming staff.

Breakfast coffee !

The hotel in general is a wee bit tired. The coffee at breakfast was undrinkable ! Other than that, it is a decent venue.

The restaurant was a bit cold at breakfast time. Given that it's in the conservatory, could do with the heat cranking up a bit on colder mornings. Occasionally a bit slow to replenish stocks on the buffet breakfast.

The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive. The location is pleasant and handy for the main road into Dundee centre

Queues to get onto Kingsway in morning.

Good location. Quiet. Liked and used the pool,sauna and steam room. Comfortable beds . Large tv. Tea and coffee in room. Great choice at breakfast ( pastries are delicious). Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would use again.

I found the staff at dinner service disinterested made me feel quite uncomfortable. I really take no pleasure from expressing this but it did not over shadow our stay at this hotel.

I liked the breakfast, the staff were a lot more accommodating than the staff at dinner service.

The breakfast was poor standard with the hot food being dried out and seemed to be cooked hours before and left under the hot lamps. The bacon was hard and fried eggs had a skin on them as they had been cooked a while. A couple of yogurts were out of date.

The room room was clean and of good size . Leisure facilities were very good.

It was a shame the property hasn't been maintained, some fixtures and fittings broken and torn not replaced. This is in no way a reflection on the staff as they are constantly cleaning and doing all they can for the customer. This wouldn't stop us returning as the welcome well made up for that.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Made you feel welcome. Location was great. The pool was warm and sauna /steam room lovely and relaxing. Clean towels provided by the hotel. Bar well stocked and prices reasonable. The food prices slightly inflated for bar style food, this said it was well prepared /presented and tasty. Thanks for a nice relaxed stay to all the staff.

Second morning breakfast all hot food trays empty. No croissants no fruit. I would have loved to see porridge!!!

The restaurant was a bit lacking in atmosphere, and the menu choice was a bit for evening meal. (Although breakfast was good)

For the price we paid, I thought the room and hotel was exceptional. The bed was massive, and extremely comfy. The pool was lovely. The steam room was the best steam room I have ever been in in a hotel. Usually they are never warm enough.

It was absolutely boiling in the rooms. No air con so I can't imagine what staying here in the summer would be like if this is what mid October is like. The service at breakfast is pretty appalling. The standard of the cooked breakfast was low with burnt sausages one day and literally the dregs left the next day and this was at 9am. Breakfast didn't finish til 10. Barely anything left and wasn't topped up. Also there was a queue of 5 of us waiting for five minutes at the buffet for hot plates for the food and not one staff member helped us or brought any out? Asked someone eventually. Staff just looked at us and walked off. I wouldn't pay for it. Also no pastries at all. Also no lift that I could see so bit annoying having to drag heavy suitcases up the stairs. I'm guessing people with mobility issues stay on the ground floor

The location was great, 20 minute drive to Dundee and Broughty Ferry. 5 minute drive to the Kingsway. Lots of free parking. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Bed was also comfortable. Didn't use the gym or pool so can't comment on it but you can smell the pool throughout the hotel which I personally like but it is very strong. Also shower is great!
