Dirty floor bathroom/ dirty stained end of shower curtain and an old shower you couldn't change direction to or hold by hand for hair washing . Dirty behind behind bedside table - when I looked for socket - which stated was by bedside and wasn't. No hairdryer as stated .

Very comfortable large bed with soft pillows and clean soft lovely white sheets .Room was a good size .

It was very hot in our room, even with the window opened. The heater wasn't on, so nothing more we could do about that. The shower in our room was broken. We couldn't change the temperature and the showerhead wasn't adjustable. When we found out, it was too late to call for help. That was really awful after a long day of travelling. The day after we weren't able to tell anyone, because there was no one at check-out.

The location is fine, easy accessible. Also there is free parking available. The staff was friendly, but not always clear in communication. They helped us with the luggage, which was nice since there was no lift. We had a really nice dinner. The food was good and not pricey at all. The beds were really comfortable, so we had a good night's sleep.

The long digital check-in with multiple screens and that the hotel is card only for everything! Wanted a pint could not pay cash Covid ended early 2022 no need to continue with card payment, don't you trust your staff???

No lift so carrying cases to top floor up and down four flights of stairs was not ideal. Reception did offer to assist though if required.

Good sized well equipped room with comfortable clean beds. Well stocked bar, plenty of parking, good value evening meals and very good breakfast. Handy for motorway. Central location with other amenities close by.

The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The bed very comfortable with good quality bed linen. The buffet breakfast was above what I expected with a fresh fruit salad, selection of cereals and yoghurts, good coffee, hot food was tasty, hot and well cooked sausage, bacon, fried or scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes, hash browns and baked beans. Choice of two breads for toast, butter, spread, Marmite, slight let down - cheap jam. Staff were courteous and friendly, the Manager came to ask if everything was to guests satisfaction and was also friendly and very approachable. All in all a very pleasant stay - I would stay again and be happy to recommend to friends and family.

Pillows and mattress very soft, only one set of towels for 2 of us. We made do with the 1 set. Young lads outside the hotel at night smoking weed, smell was coming in hotel and wasn't particularly relaxing to go in and out through them and the weed smoke.

Room was dirty not even hoovered hair in the bath gross, and someone went through my stuff despite me putting a do not disturb sign on my door handle. I complained to manager he explained cleaning didn't know someone was in the room blur blur sorry no excuse for rumbling through people's bags. cases I left zipped up all open and my folded clothes all over the place in case gave it away. Maybe dbs check staff before employment would help!!

Only thing she said let it down was a cold shower and not able to get it hot enough. Hot water to fill the bath though and should have been enough for a shower.

It is not at par with the competitive hotels which are more modern. Unfortunately, the building is old and has limitations to be modernised. If you don't mind taking the chance its OK.

Breakfast was good in general but room isn't anything luxurious. However, it is a place to stay at night when you have to take a break. Clean and comfortable bed.

The room would benefit from some refurbishment, showing signs of wear and tear. The bathroom was clean, however, one of the basin taps was loose and the shower control was really stiff to operate !

The staff were fantastic, courteous, and helpful. The room was warm and clean, and the bed was as comfortable as expected, a really decent night's sleep overall. Breakfast was nice with plenty of variety.

The room and furniture was quite tired looking, you could hear the next room when they used their bathroom and the toilet didn't flush very well.

Plenty of free parking as long as you fill in the registration details in reception. Easy 24 hr check in which was good as we arrived quite late. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety.

There was no hot water from the shower and as we were there for only 1 night we did not bother mentioning it. Breakfast was good but not great quality. For the price though it was OK, and we were only there for one night.

Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Amle parking outside. Checkin was easy and the staff very accommodating as we arrived a little earlier than expected.
