Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBeautiful location by the river, we saw a kingfisher at breakfast. The breakfast and dinner was outstanding, wine was nice quality, staff very friendly and we had a superb river view in the bedroom. Will definitely recommend and consider staying again.

Beautiful location by the river. Reception staff even printed off maps to help us find where we wanted to go on the Friday and a map showing walking routes by the river on Saturday. We walked within a very few feet of two herons.

Beautiful, spacious room. Although there was no individual temperature control, the room was a good temperature. Very comfortable bed. Good tea/coffee facilities with a small bottle of milk rather than those useless little plastic pots!

The restaurant and friendly staff were always looking to accommodate. Extra takeaway coffee FOC when I left the hotel. An extra cooling fan was added to the room during my stay.
