There were a few issues that hadn't been sorted from back in February, reading the visitors book, No light in toilet, TV still not working, these really need sorting The dining chairs/ sofa could do with a deep clean, lots of marks on them The fridge had orange stains down the side, that needs sorting, maybe rust? Lastly more glasses/ cups needed, hardly any to use, especially considering this accomadtion sleeps 6.

The location and site was brillant for us, stayed here before.

Stripped off 2 of the beds, as requested, washed up etc but didn’t have time before we had to leave to do the rest.

    Park/ play area .

It was value for money to be fare but I thought it was way to far for what I thought was cornwall ie beached. Should have done my homework better . But this place was excellent for a week's break . Took my grand kids pool was great . Kids park was terrible. In fact it should be checked out for safety. However green outside was good fun for football and tennis 🎾 court great 👍 for price a good break . Just needs a few tweeks.

Needed to have a tin opener and kitchen scissors Needed to use washing machine but difficult to dry items especially as it rained . A free standing airer would have been good to have in the house.

The layout was lovely and very comfortable. The living space relaxed and lots of space for us all to fit in.

the property was so cold when we arrived. we were only there for 2 nights so only managed to heat up on our last day as the size of the property was large took forever to heat up. could have done with the heating being put on the day of our arrival.

the property was a great size and was very clean. loved the fact that it was “upside down” living. had everything you would need (missing a tin opener and hairdryer) but had everything else including towels, dishwasher tablets, cloths etc which is a great help when self catering.

Nice enough place, but marred by poor communication and possible last minute changes.

Poor communication in advance of stay meant that it was difficult to find the park; also we arrived without a key code (staff at Reception had to ring up for it). There is an assumption that everyone uses smart phones and GPS (neither of which I use) so that everything can be left until the last moment - it seems the owner had emailed me whilst I was actually travelling to the site and I was unable to read his message - this created unnecessary stress. The booking was made months ago so this was all rather last minute. We were allocated Valley Lodge 20. not Tamar 16, as booked, so I don't know what happened there. One of the beds had very thin/bobbly sheets, and had dirty marks and gravel bits in it - not noticed until retiring, gone midnight, so not rectifiable. The laundry service relies on guests to strip the bedding to indicate that it's been used so I guess previous guests hadn't bothered, and the housekeepers hadn't checked the bed for cleanliness. Not the best system.

The property that we stayed in was fine - but it wasn't the property shown in the posting which caused some confusion and disappointment. To be fair, there was nothing wrong with the chalet and there were nice touches, e.g. a packet of Cornish Faring biscuits and toiletries/little packs of Haribos on each bed. Had communication been better, and had I been advised that the property would be other than that shown I would have been happier as unnecessary stress interfered with the stay.

No contact from host prior to indicate how to access property when we arrived. Accomodation was very cold when we arrived and no instructions on how to use heating. Hot water taps not working. No evidence of smoke alarms in the accomodation, and unsafe wiring on one of the plug in lights.

Unfortunately, there were a good few problems which have left me very disappointed. In hindsight going through the review I see that these hosts just choose to ignore any issues or suggestions given to them. When first getting to the place it is quite lovely, but there are absolutely no instructions - Nothing. Place was cold and no instructions to work the heating thing - I just pressed a bunch of buttons and hoped for the best. At a minimum this should be set before guests arrive. Day 2 there was no hot water, contacted Tom to be told we need to use some booster thing. Waited nearly 2 hours and water was Luke warm my toddler screamed and it was not a great start. Ended up loosing most of our morning waiting for water to get Luke warm. Again, if there were instructions we would have been able to do this to begin with. It’s the only place I’ve been to with zero instructions. As for the Wi-Fi? I never even knew there was Wi-Fi until reading reviews. Thanks for letting us know! Place looked pretty clean when arriving however, at closer inspection it was not the cleanest. No toilet brush so in a house with 6 people and not being able to clean the toilet was really gross 🫣 please put a toilet brush or at-least the bathroom plastic toilet brittle brush for your guests. Before booking I asked if I could have a separate invoice for the Sunday night as it was needed for a work claim- I would have not chosen here if he had said he can’t do this. Unfortunately it took over a week to get this as Tom decides to ignore all my messages and a calls. I literally had to beg and threaten to get the invoice for Sunday, which ended up just being him typing it in an email. Communication started fine but clearly if there is any issue you start to get ignored. Honestly if you want to run a holiday business where people pay a lot of money you need to make sure guests are shown respect. Worse experience iv had.

The little holiday park is lovely and the property is nice and spacious. There was a washing machine and nice sweets left of bed which is a lovely gesture. Thanks

There are so many things that need fixing - the WiFi, sky box, kitchen hot tap and lamp in one of the rooms didn’t work, giving the lockbox code to customers before they arrive in the rain and dark and struggle to gain access to- mobile signal isn’t great for sending and receiving messages. The loo roll holder is broken, the hand soap we eventually found in the shower, there are broken cables and a loose plug left on the floor, no scissors in the kitchen, knives are blunt, numerous extension leads as there aren’t enough sockets (no PAT labels on them), the light pull in one of the bedrooms is broken (and filthy). The wood on the stairs is loose in places and screws exposed. Bits of skirting board are missing. Weeds growing on the balcony. No instructions for the heating which was off when we arrived (in February)

The potential of the space in this location is huge, the sofas and beds were comfy and the home was clean.
