The room is pretty small and instructions for the heater are difficult to locate or read On entry it did have a very strange smell, but I was told they had had a leak from Above.

Easy to locate, as in a main road. Very friendly staff, Key given and directed to the room .. The bed really comfy and slept well.. no road noise Shower was good option of rainforest.. The meal in the pub was excellent. Breakfast is a self service, cereal, toast pastries.. but plenty of choice. For what I paid it was good value

Parking was good but as such popular pub and hotel got very busy and sometimes wasn't space to park when came back late afternoon.

Staff were really friendly especially at breakfast making sure everything was ok with my stay and room. Food and dinner in the pub was great and good value too. Room was clean, modern and spacious with great a shower and facilities.

The single bed was in the centre of the room and as the room had a 'box' as it was above the stairs you only had a foot wide space on either side of the bed which was very limiting getting in and out of bed....... As it was part of the headboard you couldn't move it, the bed itself and everything in the room was of the highest quality but this did make the room for me personally a little bit squashed as I'm a big woman 😳

Could hear noise from bar in room, room 10, and noise from other room occupants, not hotel fault, but gave the impression that there was little sound proofing in rooms. Otherwise no other issues

Well presented hotel, clean rooms and easily accessible bar and restaurant. Restaurant food, mixture of Indian and British was very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend restaurant for a meal.and recommend the hotel

Single room is perfect for one or two night work stay. My go to stay place when at our HQ in Tamworth. Best in area at competitive price.

The rooms are lovely but need a little bit of TLC in terms of cleaning - for example, limescale build up all around the shower and on the shower head, cobwebs in corners and dirty glasses. Parking is right by the main road and the car park isn’t the easiest to access.

Lovely bathroom!! Very modern. Beds were comfortable enough. Nice basic breakfast offered.

Hooks in the bathroom would have helped, and a cooked breakfast option. Continental breakfast was a little uninspired.

The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, especially after the great dinner, no eggs, nothing warm but a toast, and no cheese or meat, just some prepacked croissants and some scones, all with little taste.

All the staff was great, we had an incredible nice diner with lots of choices for all on the Menu. Even though it was really busy, staff was friendly, food was great, and quick. The room was nice with a great bathroom

Clean, modern rooms. Perfect for one, two nights in the area. Staff always welcoming. Food in the bar is excellent in the evening, great choices. I recommend the curries. Decent continental type breakfast in morning to get you on the way.

Breakfast finished at 9am and unfortunately we didn't make it, so can't comment on the food. However the menu in the room seemed to be really varied and value for money.

Lovely and modern. We couldn't make the check in times, however we called prior to booking and the hotel was very accommodating.

Perhaps the option of a paid cooked breakfast - if there was one we didn’t see it in the morning.

Very clean, staff were very friendly, room looked fairly recently refurbished to a good standard, the bed was comfy.
