Unfortunately there was a maintenance problem so had to walk outside and around the back to get into the breakfast room not very well signposted

Buffet breakfast would have been nice to have sausages. Always the same toaster was slow had to put toast through 4 times.

Tried to have a bath , after a minute no hot water The bath took ages to empty, which suggests a blockage. Also shower ran cold after a few minutes

The location not only to Windsor, also to the centre of Maidenhead. Room was comfy, but had hot water issues.

Hotel is quite tired, room needs some attention. Mattress was very thin & could feel the wooden slats Half the lights didnt work The heater had an error so didnt work - reported to staff the next day

I loved the location. We couldn’t get the heating to work but a word to reception sorted that promptly. We did have some disrespectful neighbours at 3 and 4 in the morning but obviously no fault of the hotel. Would have liked warm plates for the cooked breakfast.

On bookings.com it stated the breakfast was from 6.30 only to find when we arrived it was actually from 7.30 so we did not have time to have breakfast before our transfer to the airport. I was disappointed as we ended up paying an extortionate price for an airport breakfast.

Great location for Heathrow Airport, 30 minutes away. Clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river Great price!.

Food was average. Had to send my dinner back because the meat was cold and instead of getting mashed potatoes I got quite large boiled potatoes. They were very kind and fixed it, but took 20 minutes. Breakfast was disappointing. Most the buffet selection was low in quantity. There was only one waiter for the breakfast and don’t think he and the kitchen could keep up with demand. Rooms are a bit tired and could use a facelift. Chipping paint on doors, bathroom floor with marks, a bar of soap about the size of a one pound coin for the shower. Aircon/heating system was odd and no instructions on how to use it. No guide for the telly either.

The location on the Thames is lovely and it’s an old fashioned basic, British hotel. Nothing fancy but comfortable.

Stairs 3 floors room was not that clean as we found cob webs in the room not deep cleaned regular. Breakfast was not good fried eggs dry ond old looking we had our breakfast 30 mins after starting time,

Kitchen felt under staffed. Although our food came reasonably quickly some other guests had a longish wait.

Overall it is a nice hotel, could do with more surface space in the bathroom to put down own toiletries and repairs to the door could be more aesthetic. The room I had backed on the delivery bay which meant I was woken up at 6am by a delivery truck reversing in the bay and the road nearby can get noisy so you might want to ask for a room on the other side...

Wall paper hanging off the walls in the bedroom & bedroom didn’t meet quality expectations from the pictures on booking.com. Payed extra for what I thought would be a luxury stay - so disappointed with quality of the room. Also only enough for 1 hot drink each, which I thought was a bit tight

Single glazed sash windows which let in a draught and noise. Lack of instructions in case of fire. Lack of mirror within reach of socket for hairdryer.

Free parking is a bonus, so many hotels now adding car parking as an extra. Fantastic location with fabulous views over the Thames from the restaurant. Great breakfast and evening meals, could do with warmed plates. Friendly staff. Heating was good once you figure it out, a manual would be helpful. Good shower/bathroom but let down by hot and cold being wrong way round on bath/shower mixer.

My room in the lodge was clean except the large mirror had a lot of spots on it and bathroom blind was not clean, also the bathroom window was very drafty making the bathroom very cold

At arrival in my room there were multiple black hairs in my shower, thankfully I immediately got assigned to another room. Furthermore, the WiFi connection in the guest rooms was quite bad. Mobile network also doesn’t work correctly while being in the room.

Nice decorated refurbishment But plenty of snagging need addressing i.e Draft excluder needs to be fitted along length of French door. Wardrobe door needs the sliders adjusted Drawing curtains in window recess Needed to climb on a chair into recess to close Air con turns its self on and off blowing out cold air before changing to hot.

Too many stairs. No space to put toiletry bag in bathroom. Water ran past the glass side panel, over top of the bath and puddles lay on the floor. Dangerous and towels got very, very wet.

The only slight complaint was the doors in the corridor outside our room shut very loudly every time someone used them and the bed squeaked when you moved on it. A little adjustment and tightening would do the job. Other than those minor issues, we had a very pleasant stay.

The location was excellent . Room size and river view very good. Breakfast was very good quality and plenty of choice.

The guide for times for restaurant and bar needs updating and drinks were expensive even for Maidenhead! Would of been better to have service cleaning without having to book in advance considering we stayed a week but overall lovely experience.

Staff were friendly, room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the food was very good.

If I had to find a fault, dinner finished circa 10pm and after that there wasn't any option to buy food or even snacks. We had to order an Uber Eats which the hotel allowed us to eat but only in our room.

Breakfast was nice and the bar lady was very sweet and attentative. The location was beautiful.
