Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower wasn't powerful enough Lots of noise from adjoining rooms (I know thats not the hotels fault) Spa facilities were only 45 minutes slots as far as I was aware I had first booking but going down and a couple were already there... The bed was really soft and both of us had sore backs in the morning Stayed in cheaper hotels which offer a bit more

United KingdomThe hotel is new, so it seems that a few things are not in place yet. A receptionist told us that breakfast was until 11, but it was actually until 10 on weekdays. The floor map on our room's door (it's supposed to show the directions for emergency exits) didn't really have any instructions.
The room was spacious, clean, and very new. For a stay with breakfast, it was quite a good price. There are gym and sauna. Staff were friendly and always tried to help.

United KingdomThe bar man was horrible to me. I took my friend to country to country for her 60th birthday and we stayed here. When we got back way before 9pm I asked for a drink in the bar and was refused my friend went for a drink and he refused to serve me saying I'd had enough. I had a total of 4 drinks all night. I was so upset and degraded. I was made feel like a naughty child. I am a professional woman who certainly was not drunk I have never been refused a drink in my life. I felt so sorry for my friend as we ended up going to our room at 9pm. She asked for a drink to take to our room and was told no. This totally wasted our stay.
The reception staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location.

United KingdomThe interior of the hotel in all the common areas was very contemporary and stylish. However the rooms I found to be very dated in comparison especially for a new hotel. The spa was also a little disappointing as it was very small with few amenities.
The overall vibe of the hotel was very trendy and modern. The staff were all really pleasant and the atmosphere of the hotel in general was very comfortable and homely.
