A bit understaffed

Speed of serving breakfast could be faster, although the staff were very pleasant. There was no maid service during the stay of 4 days. Some items, such as milk, needed replenishing.

Breakfast was excellent. Fish excellent. Too many chips! Staff were very flexible and obliging. Room was pristine with a lovely view and a huge, comfortable bed.

Nothing at all. Could not have been better

We booked this B&B as it being the closest place to stay for a wedding at Healy Barn by 0.5 miles and offering a great price. The room themselves were intended as just a place to dump our bags and sleep. However the pub was lovely, great views, friendly staff, amazing food and nice beer garden. Then our rooms - couldn't fault them; added bonus of fabulous countryside views from the window seats in them too; perfect for enjoying a glass of wine! Then there was the staff; went absolutely above and beyond! We were not organised enough to have pre booked a taxi for the 9min drive to Healy Barn and struggled to get one; in spite of the staff doing all they could to source us various taxi numbers. Amongst the party were the groomsmen who needed to be at the venue ASAP. The staff then went above all expectations and made two trips to ensure that both the groomsmen and other guests arrived to the venue on time. We also encountered difficulties with our room key - entirely our fault and they couldn't have been better about it. We will all definitely return here and not just as somewhere to stay for a wedding but as a stay here in it's own right. Breakfast was lush too!

Due to covid, rooms were not cleaned whilst we were there. After 5 days the bins were a bit full and the bathroom could have done with a clean. Staff would supply anything you were short of so wasn;t really a problem.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was good, central for many sites of interest. Staff were friendly and keen to help. Food in restaurant was also good. Very varied menu.

Literally the only very slight negative was booking.com said 11.30 check out and we were then told it was 10, but this wasn't a massive deal . I didn't end up leaving the room until 10.30 and they were fine about it

Staff very friendly, room was cosy with super comfy bed, nice touch having the dressing gowns. The food in the restaurant was nice and good value for money. Lovely views from the hotel and a great price

it is a little off the beaten track but it was a good location for my stop over. Great views though
