Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe facilities are ok but basic enough , no cups or glasses to have a coffee in the morning and eventhough it said breakfast, there wasn’t really any.
The location for Anfield is really great, the host Michael was very friendly and helpful too. For a group of lads going to visit anfield or going to a match it’s good and the location is perfect.

DenmarkA really dirty place where the manager does not seem to care. Plastic covered beds in a cramp room. It was really cold and the heater could not heat the room. Dirty communal bathroom. The so-called beeakfast was some cereal and old toast bread. There was no cutlery nor cups for Coffee. I have travelled to 158 countries and this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Probably ok if you are a football fan, drunk and only needs to sleep. For all others: Avoid this place at all costs.

Czech RepublicHow to rate this accommodation? I'll start with a site that has been great for us football fans. But that's where all the positives end. It's a shame to talk about the comfort in the cramped sleeping cabins, but I kind of expected that in advance. It's absolutely crazy to have one key for a group of 8 people and to worry about who comes when, it's stupid to share a toilet with other roommates and residents of other apartments, but the worst was "breakfast" - dry toast (because honey and marmalade were missing), the margarine was rancid and when I wanted to have muesli, I found a single bare spoon with dried nutella on it, so I had to drink it. In the morning, when the owner came to solve the malfunctioning electricity, he demanded a 10-star rating - a mockery :D

United KingdomThe fact that I had to give the keys back. Reflecting on my stay at Anfield View, it's challenging to pinpoint anything I genuinely disliked, as the overall experience was incredibly positive. If pressed, I would say that any minor inconveniences encountered were far outweighed by the warmth of the hospitality and the superb location. Perhaps, like with any accommodation, there's always room for little improvements here and there, but nothing that significantly impacted my enjoyment or comfort during my stay. The proximity to Liverpool Football Club and the vibrant atmosphere of the area more than made up for any small shortcomings. Time flies when you are having fun.
On my recent sojourn to Liverpool, I had the pleasure of staying at Anfield View for the second time, and I'm delighted to report that the experience was even more splendid than my initial visit. Nestled within a stone's throw of the hallowed temple that is Liverpool Football Club's home ground, Anfield View offers the quintessential abode for any football enthusiast or visitor seeking the vibrant heart of Liverpool. From the moment of arrival, the warmth and hospitality extended by the hosts were unparalleled, making one feel immediately at home. The accommodation itself boasts a cosy, inviting atmosphere, with tastefully appointed rooms that blend comfort and functionality seamlessly. The proximity to Anfield cannot be overstated – being within walking distance is a dream come true for any Liverpool FC supporter. The ease of access not only allows for an effortless journey to watch the beloved Reds play but also imbues the stay with a sense of connection to the pulsating energy of the city's football culture. Furthermore, Anfield View's location serves as a perfect gateway to explore Liverpool's rich tapestry of history, culture, and entertainment. Whether you're here to soak in the football fervour or to delve into the myriad attractions Liverpool has to offer, this accommodation provides an excellent base. In conclusion, my repeat visit to Anfield View was an absolute delight. The unmatched location, coupled with the warm hospitality and comfortable lodging, made for an unforgettable stay. It's a gem for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the excitement of Liverpool Football Club and the city's vibrant life. I eagerly anticipate my next stay, confident in the knowledge that Anfield View will once again provide a memorable experience. Highly recommended for both returning visitors and first-timers alike.

United KingdomEverything, our flight was delayed and i had my phone stolen so my partner was ringing the property to let them know we would be late and to request a way to get into the property they never answered the phone nor did they respond to her emails this resulted in us having to pay £100 to stay somewhere else then since then have been ignored with every attempt at communication, truth be told we were stood outside of this property and it felt like a brothel would not recommend booking this place cant say the inside would have been any better than the front door step we couldnt get past.
