Buffet breakfast was okay but would have been much better if cooked to order.

For the price , spot on, fantastic for divers or people who like water sports, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Great location, walking distance to excellent marina, good size room, very clean, basic but had everything we needed, very good breakfast, liked the private customer entrance you could come and go as you liked without going through the normal busy hotels entrances.

A nice location my son thought the D-day centre over the road was amazing, we visited the the tank museum in wareham too just a 40mins drive away, we went to portland bill and had a tour in the light house. We went on an amazing boat trip to Weymouth, and caught the bus back later in the evening, buses ran every 30mins which was great if u didnt want to drive, the room was very clean, Staff were great. They only have about 8 car parking spaces to park in So you have to park in the pay and display carpark, Which is free over night but its not cheap in day.

Late night guests arriving in the hotel could have been quieter, but that's not the hotels fault. Maybe quieter door closers on room and fire doors

The bed was extremely uncomfortable - could feel all the springs and everything! Also quite a stuffy room as the window was round the corner from the bed.

The doors from the room and the other rooms were a bit loud .I understand they are firedoors...but perhaps some handles would help with the noise.

Restaurant was closed during our stay. Didn't get to see the hotel parrot as she was always away when I was in reception (though my friend did).

The rooms could have a bit more decor appeal - pictures of the local area, cushions etc.

Great little stay for me and my son. Room was perfectly adequate for our needs. Free breakfast included although we didn't get a chance to sample it because my son likes to sleep in but other guests commented it was really tasty. No evening meal provided at the in house restaurant at the moment but I was informed of this prior to my arrival so was able to make other plans. Plenty of parking out front for free and cheap parking behind if necessary. Great location for us to travel around portland and into weymouth with the bus stop 5 minutes away. Convenience shop across the road. Staff were all lovely and accommodating - even let me leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book or recommend.

Quite thin walls. We have heard pretty much everything from rooms on the other side of the wall.

Really loved to learn about Polly! She is adorable and really clever parrot. Clean room and great view over the marina. Could see a lot of racing boats.

The watwr system makes quite a noise when you flush or use the water out the taps/shower so you can hear your neighbour sometimes in the night, but it didnt bother us too much. The hotel is great value for money

We booked a last min trip to Weymouth and stayed at the Aqua hotel. Having spent all day im Weymouth and already knew most of the restaurants had been booked, we decided to stay on portland for the evening. Hotel was easy to find, free onsite parking, great views out to the harbour, Great showers, comfy bed and it was really clean. A short walk to some great pubs and we were lucky to get a space to eat. What a lovley sunset too from portland! Thr breakfast was really good too!
