Lack of WiFi is such an easy win for future, and better coffee in the cafe would make it a money trap!

Loved how clean and well thought out for families it was with the lodge setup, short beach walk, soft play and swimming pool.

The accomodation wasnt cleaned properly when we arrived, dirty towels in the shower room, pillows all stacked up together, no toilet rolls and no welcome basic cleaning items. The staff was really apologetic and gave me new towels, toilet rolls etc.

The location was superb, nice and quiet living complex, really close to the beach with private access.

The quality of the bed & mattress are really poor and need replacing asap . we could not sleep properly which isn’t great as you can’t rest enough to enjoy your day

The hot tub did not heat up very well, water was always just lukewarm. The shower door was broken but we didn't really mind it as it still did its job.

Loved the area where it was located. Very close to the Colwell beach. Loved their indoor pool with its natural lights. Our lodge was very tidy, aesthetically pleasing and it comes with basic needs like beddings and toiletries.

The worst was the kitchen- no baking sheets or baking dishes, 2 burners on the hob didn't work, and the lids in the cupboard did not seem to match the pots. Strange lack of cooking knives, we only had a bread knife and a small paring knife available- not the best options when trying to carve a chicken or chop veg. We should probably have paid more attention at booking, but we were surprised to find no salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar etc. Understandable that they aren't there for hygiene reasons, but we were caught out when trying to cook our dinners. The lights in the sitting area flickered and the double bed was very very firm to the point we kept waking up feeling more tired. No wifi in the area of the bungalows, did not see mention in any of the literature that there might have been a pay service. There is wifi in the public spaces but we never used it, would have much preferred to have some option for wifi while we are in our room.

Very cute bungalows, assigned parking spaces, comfortable sitting area, lovely amount of light and space in the rooms. staff met us after we arrived late and helped us find our bungalow when we got lost. Best part is the location, lovely area and access too the beach. The hot tub was a nice addition to sit in the evenings, and even though you are close to other rooms you have a lot of privacy.

Beds are really uncomfortable. Mattresses are cheapest of the cheap, shower plug blocked and covered in grime. Tv kept switching itself off and is not a smart tv. Wifi is... ok not that caring about the wifi should be a priority 🤣

Location is amazing..literally a 2minute walk to the beach. Right next to the massive conmunal green at colwell. Close to shops and.far enough off the beaten track for it to be quiet and peaceful. F the size of it, the facilities are ok.

I booked for 3 adults and we got one double bed and two single beds. Single beds were way too small width wise just big enough for kids under 13 year olds. My son is an adult and did not sleep well. There was no locker in the main bedroom as mentioned in the booking. I was expecting full access to Wifi in the lodge but it was only available in the main office / restaurant area and we could not access work emails.

Location was good and lodge was okay had some of the basic amenities. Has couple of supermarkets near by which is handy and some good restaurants too.

Early facilities closing on Sunday. The weekend is really a prime time in leisure travel. Only one sofa in a family apartment for 4 which could have easily fitted 2, or even an extra armchair, so one person was always in the dining room seats.

Good if not tight parking. Clean and well maintained hot tub and shared swimming pool. Proximity to Colwell Bay. Friendly atmosphere. Fab and well stocked kitchen area.

There are just two things but it didn't spoil the holiday: firstly the double bed was too hard and the mattress wasn't comfortable. Secondly, a plug socket on the double bedroom by the mirror would have been useful.

The bungalow was really lovely, well furnished and decorated. The location was excellent. We didn't have any contact with members of staff but the receptionists on arrival and departure were very pleasant.

Hot tubs could do with replacing. Bathroom in pet friendly lodge wasn’t great and they were digging up our front garden.

Parking is a nightmare!! Very short staffed and the rooms were not clean what so ever, had to buy antibac from the local shop and sweep and mop floors ourselves.

bed was extremley uncomfortable but its a matter of preference i suppose. the kitchen was extremley nice as was the bathroom. there were a few niggles but i definitely return,

the distance from the beach 2/3 minutes and it really was. The pool area was lovely. the staff in the bar area and check in were extremley friendly. there are a lot of restaurants in the near area and they deliver
