Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe heating in the lounge/kitchen area wasn’t working. The guy on reception came to our room to try and fix it. He couldn’t but did offer to bring us a heater. It was fine.
We’ve stayed here a few times and will stay again. The rooms are spacious and the location is fantastic. The car parking is great, although I noticed they now charge for parking.

United KingdomIt does feel overpriced even for the executive penthouses. I usually book direct but the price was more than £100 less through a third party, despite the receptionist handing me a car when I left telling me to book direct for cheaper rates. I had a sprung mattress which took me back a couple of decades - needs a more modern and comfortable bed at those prices. And there was an unbearable high pitched continuous ping from a motion sensor on the balcony. Why does it need a motion sensor anyway?? It felt like we were being monitored. It never used to have one of those in that penthouse. Please remove it because the sound is quite awful.

PortugalThe double bed was too small for a couple. When places say “double” bed, it’s usually a queen size bed. This bed was barely bigger than a twin. My husband went and slept on the couch because he was so uncomfortably crowded. Then, there was no extra blanket.. the bed that was there was comfortable, except too small.

Spacious and stylish apartment in the city centre in close proximity to shops and key places of interest. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable and also well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our friend’s special birthday and this apartment exceeded our expectations and ensured we had the best stay in Liverpool. As soon as we arrived home, we booked another visit for later in the year. Many thanks to all concerned. We are looking forward to returning.

United KingdomThe only downside was not enough heating in the lounge as only one radiator which did not get very hot, because of the size of the room an extra heater would be good, also no heater in the twin bedroom, I feel the cold but probably not a problem for most guests.
The apartment was very spacious, very clean, plenty of seating, excellent little kitchen area, everything you needed was there also huge television set, lovely big hallway and huge doors, really felt safe in the apartment. Two bedrooms which were a good size one for double bed and one for two single beds with shower room. Could not really fault anything.
