Shower in the room. The price was quite expensive. The TV should be in front of the beds :-)

The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location although slightly hidden, close to Durdle Door.

The evening meal was not so great my children had chicken nuggets and these came out over fried and in edible the manager was apologetic though and removed these from our bill the service was very slow I had to get up a few times to ask for someone to take our order and it was not even a busy night if only this was better as I would have scored it a 10/10

Was very clean and spacious we stayed in the family suite would definitely recommend to others the breakfast was very good

Overall, however, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend a stay at The Countrymans Inn.

As we stayed for a few days we would have liked to have had healthier food options like fruit/yoghurt for breakfast and salad options for the evening but I think this is quite common place for pub food offerings. The service after our main meal was non-existent so we needed to find a waitress to order our puddings. Whilst the bathrooms were in keeping with the character of the rooms, a thermostatic mixer is needed for the showers - the adults and children struggled to find the right temperature quickly.

A quiet and centrally located place to explore the Jurassic coast. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was larger than we expected for a family room. Our bed was a superking size and very comfy which is the first time we have had one like our own at home which was a treat! The evening food was excellent as well as the various cooked breakfasts available and great coffee! Maybe minor to mention but very useful for children, we were entertained at night with a pool table and darts:)

The shower in our room was very hot and there was maybe a control knob missing so I couldn't enjoy a cooler shower. Nothing else, I would stay here again :)

Clean, comfortable room, with a walk in shower, good breakfast cooked to order. Nice white bed linen and towels. Very comfortable bed. Good supply of quality tea/coffee and milk sachets on the tray in our room. Easy parking. Quiet location, didn't get any noise from the pub or the road. Location was convenient for exploring the Dorset coast. The road to the pub was a bit obscured but there is a very helpful sign on the main road that we saw just in time, or it would've been easy to drive past! We had a quick one night stopover but the carvery smelled delicious as we arrived and it was a shame we had other plans.

Google made me think I could walk to places but as with everything in the area you need to use the bus service or a taxi. There were nice heaths to wander around though so definitely space to explore!

The decor was very cute and had everything I needed but most importantly the staff were wonderful. They were helpful in everything I asked, definitely get their advice on taxis and buses before you head out!

Minor niggles, no mini fridge in room and creaky floorboards in the hallway. Thankfully we went midweek out of season so not many other guests so it didn't bother us too much. Understand the annoyance of cleaning roof windows but it was covered in bird droppings. All minor things that wouldn't deter us from staying again.

Great hotel overall. Good room size, clean & good shower. We liked the open style coat hanger and clothes storage. no messing around with drawers and doors. Helpful & friendly staff that showed us up to the room. A big and really nice done up restaurant & bar area. Sadly we didn't make use of it but the menu looked good. It's in a great location near Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door & would definitely stay again.

Hopefully this is seen as constructive feedback and not a grumble as I would stay again. Mismatch of toiletries - no keen on the pump containers that have been used by previous guests. Lighting by path to residents entrance would be useful. Weren’t given WiFi code- may not have been any? Not the venues fault but very raucous behaviour from campsite opposite til past midnight.

Room was spacious and clean but a little tired. Appreciate it’s an older building. Good size mugs- tea and coffee. Iron in the room and hairdryer. Good sized and v soft towels. Breakfast was 10/10 and staff very accommodating.

We arrived at 6.30pm on a Sunday to be told the restaurant was closed and the bar would close at 7pm due to staff shortages. If only we had been told this before arrival we could have made alternate plans for dinner. We received multiple emails asking us to pay prior to arrival but missing the payment link. We paid on arrival and then were charged again after we checked out! They were quick to refund but frankly the payment side was a shambles and we shouldn't have had to sort this out.

Lovely large king room which was nicely decorated, clean and very quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable, bedding and towels all good quality. Shower was hot and powerful Good vegetarian cooked breakfast. Friendly staff. It was all fabulous other than the bar closing at 7pm, restaurant being closed and being charged twice in error!
