It was noisy, you could here the next door occupants talking and snoring! It was only place to charge extra for breakfast and the dog out of seven places on this trip. It just wasn't worth the money for the room.
The location was perfect. The pub food was excellent.

When we arrived we just handed a key and the person went back to working behind the bar. The cost of a room was expensive when compared to the other hotels we stayed in whilst completing the NC500

The breakfast was good! apart from the "Half slice"? Haggis, ( think for £11.50 breakfast a full slice could have been provided like the Black pudding), which the half slice haggis ..... you could have bounced off the wall it was that hard, love Haggis, but that was a new experience! hopefully, that's not a tourist first experience of the traditional Haggis

United Kingdom8 reviews1 helpful vote“probably wouldn’t stay again”dated interior makes the place look untidy. if it was modernised a little then the hotel would be so much better and look cleaner, the place wasn’t dirty just needed a revamp. also only heating was a tiny mains powered oil heater which didn’t produce much heat, also loud music at night when trying to sleep from the bar below
