United KingdomThe breakfast wasn't quite on point some days. The shower cubical floods the bathroom. We did raise this with housekeeping. However, these are minor details. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
The room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was fab. The staff were great. The location is ideal.

United KingdomI would say these are just minor things, the bedside light was brighter than the main light so personally I would prefer a lower watt bulb so I could read while my husband slept or if having to get up in the night. The young girl serving cocktails in the spa took almost 20minutes and when watching it appeared as if she did not know fully how to make them.
The staff on the whole were really efficient and the room was gorgeous and the little touches eg lamb for do not disturb, window seat and comfortable bedding, dressing gowns and flip flops and temple spa shampoos etc. The spa was fabulous and really relaxing and made for a fabulous break and I would definitely come again. The restaurant staff - I assume the restaurant manager (didn't get his name) and main bar staff - I think her name was Agnieszka (sorry if I spelt it wrong) were both attentive and personable and made you feel at ease.

Fantastic arrangement, pub, restaurant and spa all in one! Room was stunning and the log burner was a lovely addition (Room 19). Bed was massive and really comfortable with a choice of soft and more firm pillow. Great facilities well looked after and all spa rooms were great. Walking distance to all the amenities of Helmsley which was really handy. Would definitely come back again.
