Breakfast choice was full english or nothing. The milk with my tea was lumpy, took it back and the second milk jug was the same. I think the hotel has recently been taken over so perhaps teething problems and staff will be trained more in future.

Really nice hotel, good comfy room. Plenty of parking for a reasonable price.

Sound proofing was inadequate

Hotel brilliant. Staff brilliant, location brilliant. There is a spoons right outside 👌 however the porn stars next door kept us awake most of night. That boy had some serious stamina. She probably left in a wheelchair

Walls are thin, I found it quite noisy.

The breakfast was re heated bacon so hard and sausages too They just warmed up everything It looked nice on the plate only the eggs were fresh In the bathroom the towel holder was in a dangerous position I walked into it and it went in my shoulder

My room was located alongside the stairs which made it noisy from inconsiderate residents. Also the window blinds did not cover the arched top, so light from the outside string of light bulbs shone directly into the room all night.

The room was comfortable and clean. A large TV was mounted on the wall. No desk is provided so possibly not conducive to working on a laptop, unless you are comfortable with it being on your lap.

The hotel has ample parking space, but guests need to obtain a display card from the reception and go back to the parking again to place on the dashboard of their cars. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were excellent. However, I prefer sleeping in a dark room, which was not possible due to the partial coverage of the blinds. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I would consider staying again if the management fully cover blinds issues."

Needs a little more attention to detail in places but for the money it was very good value.

Beautiful old property and quite a quirky feel. Staff were hugely accommodating.

No pillows present and when told they said they would put some in the room, but they did not appear. Shame as would have given a better score. Bathroom very nice but unfortunately the shower was cold, to be fair we did not mention this and I am sure they would have rectified it.

The shower in the Room 2 on Sunday was cold and wouldn’t get hot. The constant wet floor when using the latrine of a night Pillows were not great

4 nights and no room service to check room at all but told them twice. I did tell them. When arrived used toiletries in room, only 1 towel (for two people). More attention needed

Bit unfair to comment as only just opened and finding their feet. Sausages not great, personal preference would have preferred fresh tomatoes not tinned, only 1 egg but cooked to our liking. Thought some cereals and fruit might have been available but we'd ordered the full english. I'm sure this is only teething troubles.

Nice building tastefully refurbished, still ongoing. Free parking. good location. Friendly staff.

Breakfast, they said, was "Continental" but, to be honest, I don't consider cornflakes and no cold milk to be continental even in its widest sense.

No window in room so no natural light. The room wasn’t advertised as no window- i wouldn’t have stayed in this room if I’d known. Very stuffy room so didn’t sleep well and woke with a bad headache.

Location- walking distance to the band we went to see. Easy, free parking. Nice room decor
