Breakfast, it was not good. We had the fry up. Left most of it. Garlic mushrooms? cheapest possible sausages, no flavour to the beans. Bacon was bizarre.

Large room, clean and comfortable bed. Tv, few channels, we had a mini fridge which was a bonus. The bedroom was dated in decor, the view was of the roof.It was very hot, even with the window open and radiators off. Very modern bathroom, however, took a while to work out how to put the tap on and keep it on. Staff were friendly and helpful . The Indian restaurant was nice for a meal. Very close to all the amenities.

Some items on the cooked breakfast did not taste great but there was plenty of it and choice of cereals fruit etc

Breakfast was ok but sausages and beans tasted like value items, Evening meal again was ok but wasn't aware restaurant was and Indian and not an normal English style restaurant. The curry however was lovely. The shower in the room was a proper power shower and was great - the beds were very comfortable.

Could do with a blind or opaque glass in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have biscuits with the tea/coffee making facilities.

Drafty noisy windows in the bedroom.

Everything about our stay was good. Room 19 was very comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. The room would benefit from new seals on the windows as the road noise was loud and room drafty, thank goodness for the ear plugs. The meal in Shimla was lovely with great service. Breakfast was sufficient.

Not all the rooms have been modernized to the same standard.

Staff were helpful and professional. The price was good. Enjoyed the Nepalese twist to evening meals, and the breakfasts were continental. Rooms were warm, spacious and clean. It is ideally placed for the city centre. There is parking for guests out front.

The whole property is a little run down. Water stains on the roof in our room showed signs of leaks and cracks in the walls, cluttered decor leaving not a lot of room for luggage.

Good location, value for money. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Nice modern bathroom in room. Staff were helpful.

In the real world, nothing. It has the character you expect in a family-run hotel rather than the blandness of the big chains.

The location is brilliant, five minutes walk from the train station, and less than ten from the centre of town. The room was large and very quiet. Perth is a great centre for moving around central Scotland and getting into the Highlands.
