It was winter and the air conditioning was difficult to turn off so my room was freezing. It was a maze to get to the room and I ended up getting lost down a flight of stairs used as a fire escape and was locked out of all the other floors so I had to walk back up 4 flights of stairs. There was no free parking, although near a multistorey this was relatively expensive - add at least £12 to the price of the room.

I liked the kitchen facilities, the bathroom was lovely and the bed was really comfortable and the cleanliness was spot on. I slept well, it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The gym was clean, wasn't busy and was well maintained. Good location meant I could walk into Leicester.

The only issue we had was, as our room was close to other rooms, every time they were banging their doors closed, the hedges under the kitchen cupboards kept loosening. Not so much falling over but just coming apart. You might need to just screw them back on they make noise whenever they come apart. We didn’t even realise that they were even loose till the doors started banging. It didn’t affect our stay but others might feel differently.

Me and my partner have stayed here around 7 times in 2 years and it never disappoints. My partner always writes in the description box what she wants before the stay, and they have always been excellent about it and accommodate her needs. Great room, great facilities and great staff.

Some of the signage in the place is a bit misleading and initially I had difficulty finding my room. I was also a bit bewildered to find that the TV in my room was pointing towards the cooker, not towards the bed as is normal. I did manage to turn it around a bit to make it more watchable but it was still far from ideal.

Great location, in what was formerly a Department Store, super-convenient for shops, bars, the railway station etc. The building has been converted well, with a bar and restaurant at ground level which acts as "the lobby".

Slight noise from the street at 1/2am when partygoers were going home but nothing major at all.

The hotel was very modern and chic - It felt more expensive than it was! The room was furnished beautifully and very clean, the bed was extremely comfy and the staff we spoke to on reception and at the bar were so friendly and made us feel welcome. Very close to local amenities and city centre attractions - no more than a 5 minute walk. 10/10 would stay here again!

Noisy at times as it’s an older buildings and all the doors slam shut being fire doors. This makes the whole place shake. No parking. Water in shower fluctuates temperature. Could do with a shelf in the shower for products.

The location, room facilities, comfortable beds, quick housekeeping, nice towels, good decor, friendly staff, very clean and great location. Good security.
