Double bed was very small, i am 5’06, my feet were hanging off end of bed? Mattress very hard, not a comfortable bed. This was the only let down.

Nice pub, nice looking restaurant, nice looking room, clean, on site parking.

There was no breakfast available. Not sure why as it was available later in the week. New ownership? Single room quite small but bathroom and shower very good. Clean and modern.

Central heating not working due to upgrades but electric heating provided. Not a problem. hot water available at all times. No breakfast options as still staffing, but did not detract for us.

Room spacious, clean, well fitted, v comfortable bed. Very good dinner, service was spot on . Sharer starter and steaks well cooked and delivered promptly even though large Rotary group also in hotel at same time. Would use again.

there was only a couple of things that let this pub down the main one was the hot water was only luke warm as was the shower but clean and the second thing i found with this day and age is there are no USB connections in the room which i think would be a good thing and no heating but there was a heater in the wardrobe they are expensive to use and no spare plugs for it

Some things in room were broken! Headboard scruffy and broken drawers etc there wasn’t any heating in room

The water was not particularly hot so my showers were in warm water only. You need a desk light in the room so guests can use the desk for work or simply writing postcards etc, and a free bottle of water per day is a must these days, if only to use safely in the kettle for tea etc. I didn't find the bed comfortable, but I don't sleep comfortably in my own so I never expect it elsewhere: in particular, however, there were creaking noises that suggest some of the slats had broken. Music until 11:30 is a nuisance as was the creaking floorboards which need to be accessed and screwed down. Your chef managed to overcook everything that I ate and saw, and not providing breakfast was a disappointment.

The room was generous and the bathroom luxurious with a good shower.

No information re WiFi code ( had to ask) no menu in room or information about restaurant opening/closing times or room checkout time. Had a fall in the carpark, kerb stone could do with highlighting with paint or something because it's a trip hazard

Could do breakfast - a simple continental would suffice if facility has concerns about a cook being uneconomic. Room had been refurbished well but had a few signs of age ( drawer missing, one blind couldn't be rotated to open) so would merit a little attention.
