Lovely area, dog friendly! Even brought 2 sausage for the dog when we had our breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was lovely and was included in the price. The food in the pub was amazing too. Would definitely come back.

A lovely place for a getaway, in beautiful countryside on the north Norfolk coast. There are wonderful walks from the pub, the rooms are peaceful and very comfortable, and the pub itself is cosy. We also had a really excellent meal in the restaurant.

We loved everything about The Hero. We will be back.

We would thoroughly recommend The Hero. Beautiful suite with a stunning view of the sea. Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice. They totally understood about coeliac disease and the menus indicated which dishes were gluten free and other dishes that could be adapted. Clean and very comfy.

The room got a little hot and there was an unpleasant smell walking past the gents loo.

The room was smaller than expected and on the ground floor . If we stayed again we would like the upper floor . The only small thing I would suggest is shower gel in the shower.

The room had quality teas and coffees, shower really powerful, quick to get hot water. Breakfast, quality ingredients, beautifully served. Great vibe in pub, food generous portions. Very friendly staff who genuinely care whether you are enjoying yourselves. Dogs treated like guests too, exceptional dog treats for sale.

A great location for exploring North Norfolk. This was our third stay in the spacious and comfortable upper floor room with en-suite at the Hero. Staff members are always welcoming and friendly. We will be back!

Nothing really but if being picky - would be nice to have semi skimmed milk available not just whole milk.

Really friendly & helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. Particularly the assistant manager - a very warm & friendly welcome - we have stayed in many places but thought the service he gave us was exceptional. Lovely, really spacious room, comfortable bed & nice luxury touches like feather duvet & pillows. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Great quality food, cooked really well & generous portions. Also great breakfast! All in all, a very pleasurable stay & we shall look forward to returning!

Lovely stay in a small but lovely room. We ate dinner and breakfast at The Hero; both were lovely and worth a visit even without a stay. Plenty of complimentary teas and coffee in the room. Room and en suite were comfortable and clean.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival. We were travelling with our dog who was also welcome in all of the dining and bar areas. The room was beautifully decorated with lovely accessories. We dined in the restaurant which had a great atmosphere and the food was lovely. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were lovely. We can't wait to return.
