The rooms are very dated, the shower only had one temperature - too hot. The pub ceiling is falling down in places.

Excellent location in the town, great for shops and eating out. Excellent breakfast and felt very much looked after.

Staff were excellent. Very accommodating and prompt with Breakfast and great with requests. Toilet didn't flush properly. But when it was reported it was fixed quickly.

The parking is limited but there is a public pay and display a short distance away. We were lucky and did park in the car park.

The Junction is a Pub with 6 rooms to the rear. The room was fine and had all that we needed. The property is close to the Town Centre. We had evening meal which was 'pub grub' but there was a good selection and the food was OK. The breakfast was included in the price and was a basic full English but again was all OK. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

My room ( number 1 a twin ) was very clean but tatty & tired, it needs attention No headboard on the one bed the other was loose & rattled l put pillow behind it, simple to fix, had to slide mirror above desser over to use sockets, shower ceiling paint pealing, like l say with a few little touches, paint old pine furniture, new curtains a contemporary look, it would be perfect I would still recommend your hotel, l had a good stay, l will definitely come again.l only had 1 night, but I hope to stay longer next time. Thanks again to you, & your wonderful staff.

The staff were wonderful, polite, professional, friendly, sorry, I can't remember young lady's name that checked me in, & served my dinner, but Albert was a star, had my heating seen to as it wasn't working, & served my most excellent breakfast. The food was excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

A nice public house, conveniently located. Evening meals where as expected for a pub. Car parking was limited. Room were nice and spacious. Breakfast was freshly cooked however no cereal or fruit available.

I would have liked a comfortable chair in the room as I can't sit on the bed and the work chairs aren't comfortable after a long period.

Bit expensive. No tables available for dinner even though I was staying there (I did try to reserve beforehand). No serious issues though.

Very central, friendly helpful staff, pub did food inc. breakfast, rooms were clean and across the courtyard, so well away from pub and therefore quiet.

Uncomfortable bed Lack of vegan option at breakfast ( wouldn't really call a full English just without the sausage and bacon a vegan option ) although was provided with dairy milk alternative wasn't available on day 1 although was on my 2nd day at breakfast

Room very dated and dark. Immensely hot and difficult to control temperature. Cracks in walls, cobwebs. Thought a bit overpriced for condition of room, but it served its purpose for the one night we had.

Excellent breakfast. Great staff, very welcoming + helpful. Room was good size. Very quiet despite being next to road. Great location in town.

We would maybe have benefitted from shower gel and soap in the room. as the room is nextdoor to the pub it might not suit those sensitive to noises at night- it was fine for us though.

The ease of booking 2 hours before the room was needed and the check in were excellent. It was a large room with clean sheets- great for what we needed

Initially finding the access to the car park got me into the one way system but that was just because it was a first time visit. Some of the seats in the bar were a bit tired, but thats really nit picking.

The ease of check in and the room being a mtel room rather than just a hotel room, made it easily accessible. The staff were brilliant and the meals were great. The cooked to order breakfast was no fuss and excellent.

The heating wasn't working. Being hardy northerners from london, lol, and having had a couple or three beers we didn't complain. The hair dryer also didn't work and my bald headed colleague couldn't dry his scalp.

The staff was really good. The location was also good.

The en suite was looking a bit run down with some mould. The radiators were too hot and once we had switched them off to cool us down we couldn't get them to come back on when it got chilly again. Bit noisy at night as the "smokers" corner was close by and lots of loud voices.
