There was no breakfast but we found a great cafe just a minutes walk away. A little surprised to find out the bar closed at 10:30. Entrance to the car park was thru an extremely narrow archway which needed very careful navigation or you were in danger of scraping your car. There were alternatives if you didnt want to take the risk.

Room and cleanliness were top notch. The tapas menu was very good. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday made it a great weekends stay.

See above. The staff recommended a local cafe, which we used for breakfast, BUT. It should have said when we booked the kitchen was being refurbished. It would have been better P.R. if the hotel had issued a voucher .

Having asked for a quiet room, I was disappointed to find that the smoking area for loud drunk pub customers was below our (room 7) window (which would not shut completely). They really did enjoy their recent trip to France!! They eventually stopped close to 11:00 pm. The room door would not open from the inside! It required a pocket knife to lever the latch enough for the door to open.

The staff were excellent. Alex was friendly and professional in solving a room switch. The bed was very comfortable.

No bottled water in the room. Not able to open the window in the room. No breakfast options at all. No drinks allowed after normal closing time (it's meant to be a hotel). No reception on check out. Not good value for money to be honest.

The bathroom door would not close, nor lock, it stood ajar by about a hands width. In the end for privacy when showering and toileting we put together two coat hangers and attached them from the door handle to the sink tap and that did the trick. Shouldn't have to do that at over a 100 pounds for the night!

I was first given a room where the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned at all, there was urine and faeces all over the toilet and hairs in the shower and sink. I asked to move room and this was much cleaner. However, the beds and pillows were quite hard and not very comfortable. I felt a bit unsafe being in the stables area since the room door opened straight out onto the car park.

The location was good and the room was a good size for a one night stay. Convenient to sit in the pub for a drink and dinner.

The door opened directly onto the car park so people can see straight into room - could do with a screen or something next to door No hairdryer - and reception not open until 9am to get one. was travelling for a wedding so was really annoying Nothing to hang clothes on properly - just a sort of hat rack that wasn't suitable for a suit - or any clothes to be honest Not clear where to check in on arrival
