The windows were old and was hard to close. We did chat to the staff and they said they were waiting to hear if they could change the window to new.

It was in the right spot for Glastonbury . Looking out of the window you could see the Tor. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The cooked Breakfast was really good .It was not greasy .perfect. We had evening meal and that was great too.

We were in Room #1, which is small. All the doors in the room squeaked VERY loudly, so you could not use the bathroom or leave the room without waking anyone else who might be sleeping. (Note: We stayed another night in Room #3, which was much bigger and did not have squeaky doors.)

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Perfect location for a late-night arrival by bus into town -- just steps away from the bus station. Very close to shops and the abbey. Side door available to make it easy to get in and out of the "bedrooms" part of the pub without having to go through the pub itself. The room was clean and comfortable.

The live music on the weekend was indeed loud. Our room was directly over the band area and we could sing along and feel the vibrations of the drums. They warned us ahead of time and offered earplugs. We both has noise cancelling earphones, which helped tremendously. It started at 9 PM and ended by 11 PM. We had a 7 AM bus to catch across the street, so the location benefits cancelled out the inconvenience of the noise. Also, the floodlights outside the windows leaked into the room, despite thick curtains. If you have trouble sleeping with light, bring something to cover your eyes.

Great breakfast and very convenient location. Staff were kind and helpful. They stored luggage for us overnight so we could bring less during an overnight trip away from Glastonbury. We were in room 3, which was a big room overlooking Glastonbury Abbey and the Tor tower.

Great view from windows although the windows could of done with a clean. The soap dispensers were in some weird contraption to stop you getting too much out at one time. The shower was cold and so was the room a little cold. We couldn't adjust the temperature.

Great location. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was fabulous. Good value for money. Yes it was a little noisy (it's a pub on a main road) but that didn't bother us at all.

Pub downstairs was very noisy (karaoke until midnight despite the advertised opening hours being until 11pm) but this was largely to be expected on a Saturday night and I’m a late sleeper anyway. The bathroom was small and the door should have opened outwards as I struggled to get in!

Great central location, pleasant comfortable room.

It might get a little noisy at weekends, but that's to be expected staying in a pub! However, we were fine for a mid-week break.

Location was great, right in the centre of town. Room was spacious and clean. Nice staff (particularly the gentleman on the morning shift).

No where to put toiletries near the sink or in the shower .no towel rail. Shame that there was no draught beer and some food items were not available in the pub .

The Market House is situated in a perfect location right in the middle of Glastonbury town centre with some parking at the rear of the premises which is marvellous. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, cosy and very comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we have booked in again to stay there again this Sunday!

Bit noisy at night from loud music in the bar area. Could do with a plant based margarine available at breakfast or at least a bit of olive oil. They didn't have any dairy free marg and when I asked for some olive oil instead I was told they 'dont do that sort of thing' (??). Its Glastonbury!! a vegan option just makes sense.. 🙂

Room was very clean, staff polite, good location

Some of the window panes were broken and frames were drafty, also could make for more noise, but this was not an issue for us. No shelves in shower or hooks for towels.

Great location, comfortable bed, room clean, food and drink in bar reasonably priced. Good value.
