The Mary Mount is in a stunning setting, looking over Derwentwater to Catbells and Maiden Moor. There's lots of outdoor seating for fine days. Spacious restaurant and lounges. Well kept beers. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

The hotel was excellent value for money. The best on our trip. The hotel was well situated just back from the lake and only a few minutes drive to Keswick and for us a walk on the hills on the other side of the lake. The room was comfortable, dinner very good and reasonably priced. Staff all very helpful and friendly. When we visited the weather was very good and it was pleasant to sit outside for a drink and some others ate outside.

The view ,location and grounds were superb. Plentiful seating areas Bathroom facilities excellent Breakfast buffet excellent Extremely dog friendly Sausages and treats offered to dogs a lovely touch.

The meals and the drinks were put on our room which was great but at the end the bill was not itemized so not sure what we paid for.

The location was outstanding, situated close to the river and nature. The meals were superb, prepared and cooked with quality. Our room was one of the recently refurbished ones with ample space, private and quiet. All the staff we encountered were welcoming, pleasant and approachable.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary 3rd May for 3 nights. Lovely location and staff were great, in particular Amber, Ryan and Romeo.. The seating area outside is lovely, all in all it was a lovely stay and a lovely hotel

We stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was lovely! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was really big with a large walk in shower and everything was really clean! Breakfast was delicious and the whole place had a nice relaxed vibe..

We would say the price of the drinks was unbelievably expensive. It was £16+ for one small and one medium glass of wine which we did think was steep. The pillows in the room were also very thin despite there being two. Small grudges though.

The food here was amazing and the location of the hotel is just gorgeous. The staff at breakfast were very attentive. Our room had a bath which was an added bonus! The bed was massive and very comfortable even though it was listed as a standard double.

Our room was extremely clean, modern, warm and bright with a very comfortable bed and excellent facilities including parking. The staff were lovely, such a brilliant stay for the price aswell, would recommend this location to anyone staying in the area.

We absolutely loved the staff and the hotel. The location is stunning - right near the water. The food was great and the room definitely exceeded our expectations! We didn't want to leave and will certainly be coming back soon!

The only one thing that was a slight negative was the shower pressure. Other than that we could not fault the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, with amazing views looking over Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains.The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was really nice and clean. The breakfasts were very good and the choice was great. The hotel is also dog friendly as are most of the places we visited in Keswick We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would come back again.

Water pressure in shower was a little low and could have been better

I loved the friendly staff and excellent location. It's a beautiful property in a beautiful part of the lake district with easy access to most of my favourite places to visit. Food was great, bedroom clean with a fantastic view. Just a nice, relaxed stay with incredible views all around.
