Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

EstoniaThe pool area is very small and kids are allowed only until 12:00 lunch time (for people without kids it can be of course a bonus). Somedays they clean the rooms in the afternoon.
The room is big enough. Floors are very soft. Bed is super nice and comfy. Morning buffe is ok, not very big choice but they can prepare additionally according the menu. Staff is friendly. Many bus stops around for different directions.

Location was ideal for our visit , flying into Standsted and connecting to Express to Liverpool St Station which is only a short stroll to hotel. Choice of tube and rail stations all very near . Excellent all round.

IrelandOur king size bed was two single mattresses put together. Both were old and springs were apparent. A very sunken experience. But worse was the bright blue glow from the services tablet in the wall - lights air con etc. There was no way to turn it off. It face the bed.
The location was excellent so handy for buses and Liverpool St Station, and the tube. Shoreditch and Spitalfields Market. The staff were gorgeous and friendly. Offered lemonade on arrival.

Netherlands-Breakfast a la carte was disappointing. One time cold English breakfast and waffle hard for the kids - when rooftop bar is rented out, downstairs bar still close early without a “late” drink for hotel guests

United KingdomFor a 5 star hotel there wasn't a 5 star feeling. The room was comfortable but very average. I paid for access to the spa. Upon arrival we were asked if we were "members" we told them we were guests of the hotel and were told we could have 30 minutes max access. There was nobody in the spa. I wasn't expecting to be timed after paying an additional amount to access the spa.
The hotel overall was beautiful, welcomed in by the friendly staff. It was busy in the bar area as we arrived in the late afternoon. The comfy room and location were perfect for our needs. The breakfast was delicious!
