Would have been nice to have a little more choice on the menu that was not Fish, however the burger was excellent. Would have been nice to have the furniture rearranged so that there was a plug or an extension lead to complete some work at the desk.

Not much in the immediate surrounding area - however perfect for my purpose as it is located down the road from the office I was visiting. Plenty of parking, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Food was brilliant. Many Thanks, Lauren

Our room was affected with movements of other guests/staff easily heard, especially the door nearby the room which particularly was loud each time someone used it (earplugs might be an idea). The sockets are positioned very oddly within the room, so not the most convenient when wishing to use the kettle. The ensuite is nicely sized, excellent shower, though the corner of sink is very close to you when using the lavatory, and rounded basin would overcome that issue. Be careful of the slope as you enter the bar area, it's not obvious until you have stumbled on it.

Room airy and well furnished, very clean, bed comfy. Good provision of snacks both complimentary and purchasable available in the room. Breakfast was wonderful, all staff we interacted with were friendly, professional and helpful, and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Evening meal was to a very high standard, vegetarian food option was full of flavour and beautifully presented. A senior family member requested a smaller portion of their meal option which was accommodated without hesitation.

The most frustrating element of the whole experience is down to Youngs Brewery telephone answering system which frustrates not only guests but staff too.Its ridiculous that you can't just phone the Pheasant , speak to a human being and ask a question..such as " Do you have an electric car charging point" as my friend tried to do. Please go back to a friendly ,efficient human picking up the phone!! I really think this would put some people off the place and that's such a shame.

I have stayed many times before and always reaches my expectations.The bedrooms are well decorated and the beds are beautifully comfortable.

We arrived at 5pm and our room was freezing, took ages to warm up. The bath/shower needs a mat, hit my head on corner of the wall when getting out as it was so slippery and the bath is very deep.

Nothing we didn’t like 😊 Just one minor suggestion. For porridge lovers perhaps some instant porridge pots at breakfast?!

Friendly reception and welcome, although they were busy they had time for us. The room was a standard double and lovely and comfortable, we loved the little touches like the mugs in the room and the toiletries were Luxurious. Dinner was excellent and the service brilliant. We would definitely stay again and can find no fault!

Impossible to find fault

A cracking find, just off the M4. Lovely bar area with great food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. They even have a few cuban cigars and a covered courtyard to enjoy them in. The room was fresh and well decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Lot's of natural light, a big shower room and great toiletries, tea and coffee with biscuits. A real gem of a place. You have to try it.
