Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomBoth shower gel and hand wash was empty in 2 of the rooms and was not replaced. One of the rooms had a TV not working. Toilet door did not close properly in one of the rooms. Showers had a very poor flow Staff having to look after both reception and the bar in the afternoon meant delays for service in both areas.
Staff were friendly. A member of restaurant staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly and efficient, but I didn't catch his name.

The room was a fantastic size (two single beds), clean and cosy. We had a sea view, no obstructions. The restaurant had a fantastic dinner and breakfast menu. Staff were welcoming and the car park was accessible.

The hotel has a wonderful position on a hill overlooking Portpatrick. The mainly young staff were competent, friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable with a good light for reading by.

United KingdomStayed in the 3 bedroomed self catering apartments. Need refurbishment, in particular the smaller single bedroom, also that room didn't have any storage for clothes. The bathroom had no storage facilities for toiletries either.

We had a sea view which was good, the room could do with a bit of freshening up, looked a bit tired. the locating is excellent the only issue is if you mobility isn't great the hotel is at the top of the hill. this gives it an excellent and uninterrupted sea view.
