It was a bit warm in the room, a better fan would have been appreciated.

The room was large, boutique and bespoke. It was an excellent mix of modern and antique. Breakfast was included in our stay and the selection was excellent, so was FH food. The location is in an accessible but quiet area.

Great staff attention.

Very nice house in a very nice area. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the house along with the same in the immediate area. A short walk to the royal botanical garden was also a plus.

Lovely hotel in a good spot. The room was spacious, overlooking the terraces next door. The room facilities are excellent. There was a little noise from the pub on a Friday night but nothing significant. The restaurant is good.

It’s small and tastefully decorated in Scottish fabrics. I love it’s position just out of the main shopping area, but still walkable to mostly everything I needed

We were older travelers, and were too tired at the end of the day to go out to eat, so we ended up having several dinners in the hotel restaurant. Some dishes were quite good, but others were disappointing.

Beautiful large and comfortable rooms. The staff was unfailing cheerful and helpful. Enjoyed getting to know Stockbridge.

Nothing we did not like but it was very warm in the room, not sure why as the heating system seemed off. Anyway, our two nights were great !

Comfortable location to visit the city walking. The staff is very helping and lovely ! The room was large, comfy and the hotel quiet. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone !

We had booked an extra bed for the room, as we were travelling three people together (two teenagers and an adult). The description said “sofa-bed”, but it was more like a “camping/fold-out”-bed, not suited for a grown-up human being, and certainly not suited for a 4-star hotel

Bed pillows not very comfortable Option for other bread than sour dough ( too tough to eat) but tasted lovely.

License exceptions meant no one could be outside after 10, but feel like guests actually staying for the night should be allowed on terrace even just the lower part especially in the hot weather because even at 10pm it’s still warm

I couldn’t find a single fault and will be going back to the same hotel again

The first hotel was really noisy because of road works, I have a walker and I couldn’t manage it up and down the stairs so I felt stranded. You refunded my money for the next two nights and I moved to the fantastic Raeburn the price was the same as the first hotel but I had so much more it was in a Victorian style the dressings were beautiful and the furniture everything you would expect from a five star hotel.

Busy bar areas downstairs can be a bit noisy on warm days (where your windows may be open), but the hotel is otherwise very quiet.

The Raeburn is very comfortable and spacious, and within reasonable walking distance (20 min) of the old town and grass market areas.

I just want to thank the staff for the amazing reception, I felt so welcomed from the first moment I got in there. The room was absolutely stunning. I knew the hotel was beautiful by the photos but seeing it in person was breathtaking. Every little piece of this place was memorable.
