There was nothing to dislike.

Room was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Staff were very friendly/ Breakfast room was spacious and caught the morning sunshine. Breakfast was delicious and much better that some we have had in more expensive hotels.

The couple who run this are excellent hosts; friendly, can't do enough for you. It's a great pub and all the locals are friendly too. This is our 4th, maybe 5th stay, so it's our go to place when in the area. Great food and very reasonable prices. We always have our dog with us and he is made just as, probably more!, welcome than us humans :)

room far too hot, could not turn heat down , shower needed non slip shower mat. We did open windows but shame letting heat out of window and worried of midges getting in so could not leave it open.

lovely breakfast and food, would like smaller portions of main meals for smaller appetite or like me unable to eat larger plates of food. but quality excellent. Room clean and tidy,

Nothing to dislike. If you want The Ritz facilities go stay at the Ritz if you want good honest friendly service and people go stay at The Royal Oak

Room was fine it had everything that we wanted. 2 bottles of water provided plus a tea and coffee tray as well, extra supplies available you just had to ask. Breakfast was excellent and dinner was from an extensive menu and was extremely tasty and the portion size was great. Good free parking outside the pub

Could not turn heating on or off in room Toiletries would have been appreciated Some noise from bar at night but not too obtrusive, it,s a pub folks, what would you expect.

Great accomodation at fantastic prices Good size room well decorated and spotlessly clean. Comfortable double bed. Refreshments, hairdryer, iron facilities in room. Good large size TV. Good views Staff/owner and locals all very welcoming Very busy restaurant at night good selection of food and drinks. Book early to avoid the rush. Large full freshly cooked English Breakfast or continental included in price. Beautiful. Very dog friendly venue. Slept like a log. Thank you so very much Highly recommend a visit.

Walls of bedrooms were a little thin which meant there was a little noise coming from the room next door. Overall the room was great value.

Booked in for Bed & Breakfast and everything was very good. Check was easy and staff friendly. The room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Overall I would definitely use again as very good value.

The owner was extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The bed was so comfortable! The bathrooms seemed quite new and very clean too. Bottles of water and clean towels provided, and a yummy breakfast! We will definitely be back next time we are visiting family. Thank you :)

Double bed in the family room could have been a bit better (but that's being really picky)
