We were in the 'old' building where the rooms overlook a side street with junk food shops open till 2 am, with associated noise. Also the room was quite tight and the double bed the most 'compact' double bed I've slept in. On a previous stay we had a room in the new building and will request a room there next time, even if it costs more.

The hotel staff are just great. Nothing is too much trouble. Simple things, like opening doors for you, something many hotels have forgotten about. Great breakfast, sets you up for the whole day!

We booked a taxi to airport at 4.30pm via hotel reception. But we waited until 5pm, there is no taxi coming to fetch us to airport. We need to wait at taxi stand to rush to airport for our next flight.

I couldn't work out how to turn off the air conditioning, not a major problem, but the only one that springs to mind.

I enjoyed my stay of 1 night only, hard to be too objective based on the time spent there. Pleased there was a vegan choice in the restaurants.

The room was lowest rate room, unbeknown at time of booking. Air conditioning was very noisy and room extremely cold. We were not advised of loud gay pride weekend after parties, giving us an almost sleepless night.

Breakfast was excellent both in choice of food and helpfulness of staff.

It was very hot and the air conditioning was a bit hit and miss.

Room was in old part of hotel Had a huge mobile air con unit in room with a giant hose venting out of window Couldn’t close window because of this and outside was noisy Unit blocked access to one side of the bed

For me who doesnt eat fry up's ever, i was surprised when i asked the chef do they have porridge, he apologised & said no, i said ok any oats you have, i can make it myself, said didnt have any oats in the hotel!! so after couple of mornings with eggs & toast, found somewhere that did porridge. The chef / Hotel need to see whats trending, as Porridge is very popular now, if you dont eat fry up's!!! i can even get it in 4/5* hotels abroad. Thanks.

Room was spacious & clean. shower was fantastic, very powerful spray, but leaked under door, so had to put towels down, but had plenty.

Rooms let it down. We were in the old part of the hotel. Requested to be moved from our room as it was small, dark and had a rattly air con unit hanging out the window. The alternative room was better but still not great.

Great location. Lunch menu good. They have invested in communal public areas. Staff friendly and very good.

Housed in the old building which is quite dated. Portable air conditioner in the room which was very noisy - couldn’t have it and tv on at the same time . Not made aware of this earlier and given a chance to upgrade. Room very dark and dingy. Lifts in hotel but stairs to old building.
