The room was quite hot even though it was cold outside and we had all the windows open. You could also hear the noise from the bar downstairs. Very limited car parking spaces so ended up having to pay for parking at the main car park.

Great location, the food was really nice and the staff were friendly. Nice walks around the area and cute shops on the high street.

Room quite small, shower temperamental suddenly dropping in temperature at random moments unannounced.

Travelled with our Dog, staff were very accommodating, allowing dog into restaurant etc . Very Dog friendly and helpful staff. Good location in high street.

Warm welcome from the staff made a great start. Room was spacious, food was good and service was perfect. Very dog friendly. Location was ideal for us, close to forest with lovely walks for the dog and in centre of town with many shops and pubs

The double bed is 2 beds attached to eachother but not lengthways, widthways so the join comes just at your hips when you sleep, which isn't horrific but just made my back sore the next day, not a huge deal at all, but if you're plus size or a tall person it's quite uncomfortable.

Staff were all lovely and super nice, loved all the dogs that were staying there at the time, breakfast was delicious and the birds in the aviary in the garden were adorable. The view from the room was so lovely, you get 2 hair dryers, tea, coffee even green tea, no hot chocolate which I tend to prefer but that's not an issue I just brought some from a shop along the road, 2 fans in the room, lots of towels, the bar of soap is quite drying so bring your hand cream, but overall I would recommend and I will be back. If you want, cosy aesthetic village vibes stay here you'll love it. Perfect window spot for reading in the navy blue room with the beams. ❤️

We were in room Beaulieu and there was lots of space, good view and ample facilities. The breakfast is also very good with good service. Great location, very central to all what Lyndhurst has to offer.

The weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy the big garden out the back!! I'm coming back in the summer!

Breakfast was great and was served very quickly. The room was tastefully decorated. It was at the front of the hotel but didn't hear the noise of the road. Lots of amenities in the room, ie hairdryer, coffee maker, fan (great for us menopausal women!). Location was great. The owners also own the pub next door and all the staff were soooo friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and they decorated my dining area with balloons and banners so made me feel very special.

There was no hot water in the morning for my shower. Weird as there was very hot water at night (even the cold water was warm, not so great for teeth cleaning). Otherwise couldn't fault the hotel, really comfortable, newly furnished to a god standard and in a great location, with parking. Would recommend and stay here again.

As others have mentioned - if your room faces the road, it is noisy, light sleepers - pack your earplugs. Squeaky floorboards - we stayed on the first floor and it did seem that above us was an elephant family dancing (late night dancing and they were up at 6am again - some stamina). For this reason, I would request a room on the second floor next time. Tea and coffee in room not great, the hotel has a really nice quality feel to it - this detail is a little let down. It would have been nice to receive a card or chocolate to acknowledge our anniversary as I mentioned this upon booking. Not a deal breaker but these little details really add to your guest experience.

We stayed here as a little anniversary treat, the king room was very nice, clean and spacious, bathroom - very nice, especially the light up mirror. The staff were lovely, the young man serving the breakfast was very busy but so polite and friendly at all times. The location is fantastic for walks in the forest and walks through the shops, great restaurants and cafes nearby. I will definitely return. Free parking at the back if you manage to get a spot (which we did!). Thank you for the lovely stay 😊
