We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We and our dogs were made so welcome and felt so relaxed here . The owners and the staff couldn’t do enough fr you and after a very wet and muddy walk we were offered a shower/ bath to clean our dogs . The supplied lovely beds for them too. As for us very lean and comfortable rooms , excellent food too .. will definitely be back . Well done 😊

Excellent location and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Could not fault staff at the hotel one bit, really helpful, friendly and could not do anymore to make you feel welcome.

From the moment we walked into The Stag we felt at home. Staff were ultra friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Food was lovely and a good selection. The breakfast gave us a good start for the day, all very fresh and presented very well. We didn’t feel rushed to finish our food, although at times they were very busy. Thank you again and we will definitely be back.

Great pub, friendly staff, great car park when you make sure that you read the instructions in how to get to it, super location in the heart of the village, comfy room.
