Good to have off-street parking to the rear but the access to this could have been better maintained. Despite being a large hotel building it is operating as bed and breakfast only, fortunately there are good bar/pub/evening meal options within walking distance.

Helpful and accommodating front desk on arrival and departure; breakfast was largely self service buffet with cooked items kept warm but plentiful and a reasonable selection. Bedroom and en-suite shower room clean and comfortable with plenty of electricity sockets but searched in vain for a hairdryer. Not sure if the light above the entrance was working as it didn't come on when I flicked the associated switch.

The only down side was the parking at rear it wasn't the nicest place to leave a car and needed tarmacing.

Everything was great room was clean and tidy and had an excellent sea view. The breakfast was very good and staff were helpful and friendly. All in all it was a very good hotel reasonably priced.

Breakfast was available but started too late for me, it would be nice if contractors had a choice to eat breakfast earlier.

The hotel was clean & comfortable, noisy guest in the room above me but that can’t be helped. Good place to stay for a few nights when working away.

I personally wasnt a fan of dogs in the dining room, especially when barking. Breakfast could have been warmer but was ok

No lift due to broken so although moved to first floor still had lots of stairs to climb with a disability . Lounge area no atmosphere as old and dark . No entertainment despite advertised on site and sign outside . Breakfast basic but waitress amazing trying to cope on her own .

The beds were extremely comfortable and room nicely decorated albeit bathroom old . Very quiet at night with fab sea view. Staff were soo friendly and welcoming

The toilet didn't flush very well, water out of taps very slow flowing. Didn't try the shower as although it had a grab rail, there was a large step into a rather small cubicle. Hotel was booked as it said there was a lift but it was out of order. Breakfast to be served a bit earlier, 8 -10am was a bit late for us. Bit basic for the price paid would have liked a better quality of refreshments, e.g herbal teas, hot chocolate, decent biscuits. Couldn't access the wifi.

Location as expected on the seafront with wonderful views. Staff very dog friendly and helpful. Moved my room to 1st floor instead of 2nd as I have mobility issues and lift was out of order. Disabled parking bay right by entrance.

We booked it for work and it did the job- I was poorly and on the final Checkout day- they allowed me to have the room (at a small extra cost) until 5-6pm!! Thanks so much for that! We would stay again.

The lift was out of order, the fire alarm too close to the door frame and some sockets did not work in the room. The toaster kept tripping the circuit. Staff were a bit stretched.

Great view, lots of hot water and comfortable bed. Staff were lovely. Limited range of drinks at the bar but price was good. Breakfast was acceptable.

You didn't get a key to get in at night. Staff serving coffee in coats. Noisy during the night

there is nothing i didn't like..... the people above us we're very loud and their language wasn't pleasent to listen to at 2300 at night
