My husband thought the bed was a little on the hard side, although I liked it. guess that’s down to personal preference.

Attention to detail in the rooms. Bathrooms lovely and modern, hot powerful shower, lovely toiletries, robes. And in the room, nespresso machine, ice bucket, fluffy pillows.

Due to being on the front there was noise from the lorries passing, but I had my ear plugs anyway, so popped them in and slept like a baby as the bed was just so so comfy!

Attention to detail, quality of decor, furniture, etc. Fabulous atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast scrumptious!

The bed was quite uncomfortable, as the sheets felt almost like plastic and the pillows were extremely hard. However, it was not so extreme that I could not rest, it was just dissapointing compared to the rest of the service.

The staff were incredible, being extremely welcoming and accomodating. Also, when I entered the room, they had made great effort to produce a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. This was through classical music, refreshments and a gorgeous scented diffuser.

I have stayed at this location a couple of time and each time was exceptional! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The attention to detail and décor are excellent. The bathroom is spacious with an great shower and toiletries.

Traffic noise from main road. Obviously not much can be done about that, but the hotel receptionist was very accommodating and moved us to the rear of the building. Where we had stayed before

Hotel is located near to loads of local sites/walking areas. Kitchen and waiting staff were bubbly and friendly at breakfast.

Our one and only very minor complaint is about the breakfasts. Whilst there was an extensive and no doubt excellent menu for cooked breakfast for those wishing to eat a continental breakfast the choice was limited. The freshly prepared melon and pineapple were only available for two days, as were the croissants. Cereals were limited in choice and not particularly good quality. In no way did this limited breakfast spoil our stay and we would willingly stay at this hotel again.

Lovely quiet ground floor room. Copious amounts of hot water. Large walk in shower. Responsive and friendly staff. Comfortable beds .Very minor issues dealt with quickly - missing bulb, shower mat. Brilliant evening meals in traditional setting - food excellent. Good. Particularly liked waking up to birds amongst trees despite being near a very busy road. Lovely grounds with outdoor eating areas and dog friendly. Overall a really lovely hotel which we would willingly use again.

I had to really think to nit pick here but the soundproofing between rooms isn't great and the window could have had better soundproofing and a blackout blind.

Fabulous room, far exceeded my expectation for a pub with rooms! Lovely big bed, quality bed linin, plush shower room and Espa products.

Thoughtful decor with nice little touches. Walking into classical music playing in the room was a nice touch. I also had dinner, which was really tasty, and breakfast was also nice. I look forward to visiting again.

Very comfortable room . Large king sized bed. Large walk in shower. Fluffy robes. Nespresso coffee machine with a choice of coffee pods. Artisan tea and selection of non-dairy milk. Freshly cooked breakfast with all dietary requirements catered for. Plenty of parking. The only downside and the reason I gave it a 4 star rating, there is no lift.
