Had 3 air conditioning units outside our window that were whirring all night and kept up both awake despite the windows being closed.

Very much enjoyed the stay. Apart from a slightly malfunctioning toilet flush everything was perfect.

Booked at last minute following decision not to stay in a poor nearby property. This property was everything the other was not, warm, welcoming, good value and very comfortable indeed. It was actually also cheaper than the other property which brought into sharp contract the difference between the two and the fact that you need to treat reviews carefully.

It was very noisy in the room we stayed in through the night due to the kitchen fans I believe.

It was beautifully decorated with original features. Toiletries made available for humans and the dog. Very chilled atmosphere and cosy.

The fact that we only had one night ! We would have loved to stay for longer

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed with very warm hospitality - The Bar Area was lovely and we had an arrival drink . The room was comfortable and ideal for a night's stopover Dinner was very tasty ! Breakfast was amazing

Room 12 needs some TLC. Visible damp, peeling paint, unpainted area and un filled holes in the wall, and black mould. Check in was not good. we could see they were busy but left waiting 20 mins without even asking what we wanted.

Food, Location and pub were fantastic! Worth a visit. Both in summer and winter! We ate in the restaurant in the evening - fabulous! Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. Lots of little nooks and areas to sit and relax. Bed was amazing- so comfortable and sheets 300 thread count were divine! Stand alone bath was brilliant and nice little touch of homemade brownies in the room that were unbelievable. Staff at breakfast were great as were the staff for our dinner.

Fresh Milk in the fridge was off so unable to make a drink. TV signal not tuned in and wouldn’t tune in Internet was not available in the room. Toilet keep refilling - slowly but still annoying whilst trying to sleep.

The TV aerial kept on failing

Extremely comfy beds and luxurious bedding. Best pillows I’ve ever slept on. Excellent breakfast, beautifully cooked. Very professional and efficient customer service. Wonderful rain shower & superb bathroom.

I think for the price you pay there should be more complimentary snacks/drinks included in the room. Car park was quite small and on street parking filled up quickly so was difficult to find a parking space. Unfortunately the fire alarm accidentally went off at 6:30 am, obviously a one off but slightly annoying none the less.

The location of the hotel is in a great spot, very near burton on water. Great atmosphere in the hotel, rooms decorated nicely, comfortable bed and amazing bath tub. Breakfast was cooked perfectly, very tasty.

If I had to be super critical I would say it could do with a paint in the passages leading to the room and parts of the room but I appreciate that is alot to do with people not being careful with their luggage.

It was lovely, homely and friendly staff.
