I liked the set up of the rooms it would be lovely for a family holiday. I unfortunately was just stopping over for a night on a work trip. The Restaurant with the accommodation was lovely and the food was delicious.

I liked everything, but accessibility might be a challenge for some because of the hills. Vehicle access is via narrow lanes, which may be a challenge for some.

It’s a proper old pub, nicely finished with authentic touches. Service is good, and the food is good and reasonably priced. The accommodation area is unique and very peaceful.. chalets are formed in blocks on a hillside. Parking is plentiful and they have electric vehicle charging. The chalets are spotlessly clean and a very nice touch was the kit box for our dog, with some treats, blankets and a microfibres towel/coat. If you want a stop enroute to the channel crossing or a weekend walking around the Kent countryside, then this is a perfect spot.

The shower head in the bluebell room… due to the great water pressure… needs tightening… It sprayed all over the ceiling and room! 😳🤣

Fabulous location, the welcome was first class, accommodation wonderful and the staff and food just lovely! A real gem! 😄

There was a very steep hill to the accommodation. There are some rooms at the top of the hill.

Staff were all friendly. Comfortable room. Good breakfast.

Cardiac Hill .. the room we booked was at the bottom of a horrendous hill. We were not aware of this beforehand and the adverts say 'all on one level'. One of us has breathing difficulties it was a real problem, however we managed it by driving up/down each time - not really ideal as the top parking area was packed on a Sunday. We booked a family room (best price on Booking.com) but the TV was setup for the 2 bunk beds and couldn't be watched from the double bed.

Staff and food were EXCELLENT! th eteam run like a well oiled machine and are extremely friendly & polite yet remaining efficient. The heating in the room worked well.

Evening dinner prices are steep! Bathroom towels had not been changed by the domestic staff, I informed the reception.

We are familiar with the Inn and like its quirky setup. The room was just that .. roomy, and well laid out. Breakfast was fine but dinner was a bit expensive. The bar and dining areas are a warren of cosy spaces. A very nice place to stay.

My bed was noisy, turning over, almost like the frame needed tightening. We had buttercup. The curtains let in quite a lot of light. Lining them would be useful

In a lovely location with fantastic views, rooms are a really good size and are comfortable. Bed was really comfy, we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were helpful and friendly at all times, made us feel welcome.

Was abit far away from where we needed to be. Loads of road works about which taxi driver wasn't aware of so cost more money but that out of your control
