The rooms could do with some tlc & updating as run down in parts. For the price of the room I feel breakfast should be included.

Bathroom was a little tired looking, we opted to swerve using the bath/shower so was glad it was only 1 nights stay. The double head board was really squeaky which was a little annoying when turning sides during the night. No fresh juice (blackcurrant squash) during breakfast which was a shame- told no matter how much they order it never gets sent, slightly odd as you can purchase juice at the bar.

Nice hotel, meets all basic needs. Friendly staff and good restaurant adjoining. Free parking! Continental breakfast was good.

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable for a grown up but fine for the kids to sleep on.

Upon checking in the surface that we signed the papers on was so sticky that the paperwork had to be pealed off. The floor in the bathroom was extremely tired warped, and discoloured. The furniture in the room was very worn and tired. There were no drawers to put clothes in, just a few hangers. The chairs and benches in the restaurant look terrible. Extremely ripped and tatty. If breakfast wasn't included it would have put me off eating there. It is a shame because the food was nice and good value. I would be much more keen to go back if the decor standards met the bare minimum.

The bed, TV, shower pressure, and food were good. The staff were friendly, and Holly was especially lovely. She was bright and cheery every morning she was on and created a lovely vibe in the restaurant. You can order meals to your room on an app, which is super handy when you are tired in the evening.

For the price nothing

Easy to find and park and nice staff. Room totally adequate. Clean and quiet. Like the idea of Mcdonalds 20 metres over the road and can deliver to your room. Thanks a lot

The bathroom was terrible. I asked for the shower to be mended but nothing was done - over the bath shower was not functioning correctly and was dangerous. I had to ask for the bathroom bin to be emptied

we are a large family and for 2 rooms it was very reasonably priced. very comfortable bed! hungry horse next door did excellent food deals for families. only 20 minutes from alton towers.

The pub area was extremely shabby and in need of replacement furniture. The furniture was dated and scratched.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and able to empathize as we were attending a funeral. The food and drink was really cheap and good for the price.

It needs a refurb. Decor, furniture, property needs a lot of TLC. It is dated and needs an uplift.

I suppose the only negative is, it all look a bit tired, including the pub area. Cleanliness was fine though.

Easy to find, easy to check in. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Room had everything we needed. Great being attached to food and bar. Next to a big tescos and Aldi. Great location.

Breakfast would be nice until 10am every day, breakfast good but iwouldn't have a Sunday roast there. A few more tea bags and milks would be nice.

Asked for a quiet upper room, got a quiet room. Excellent size for twin beds. Very comfy beds and linen. Great shower. Good breakfast. Convenient location and near to McDonald's and a Tesco. Large car park and a garden. Very nice staff.

The room was advertised as 301sqft Family room, and it just was not that at all perhaps around half that 150sqft. We have stayed in lots of family rooms and this was a good one amongst others like it, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn etc are all a similar size. However, we have stayed in others 280 - 320 sqft and they are vastly different and normally you have a separate sleeping area for the family, which was what we were expecting from the advertised size of the room.

Great location for Alton Towers, Taxi 20m approx £20-£30 local taxis or Uber (July 2023 prices). Excellent value for money. Greene King so cheap but decent food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were located on the ground floor, I would recommend to book 1st floor as noise from people above was bad, every footstep could be heard and in our case started at 5am.

Location for Alton Towers was great only 20 minute drive. Breakfast wasn't great, water for hot drinks was tepid on both mornings and the food appeared to have been kept warm and not fresh.
