You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA more comfortable chair in the room would have been nice. The room key did not work on my second night, but the night porter helped me so it was no big deal.
I stayed for 2 nights arriving very late and leaving early, so used the hotel only for a bed. The night porter was most helpful. The room was of good size with a very large bathroom. I liked the heated towel rail. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bedclothes, towels and toiletries were all of decent quality, and the bed was comfortable. I did not try the tv or wifi so cannot comment on those. The decor is very dated, but that did not bother me in the slightest, and is built into the pricing, which provides very good value for money in a very convenient location. I did not drive there, but there is a large cap park for those who do. I do not know if they do breakfast, but there is a good Wetherspoons a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which is in itself about a 15 minute walk from the railway station. Parts of the building date from the late 18th century and look good from the main road. Inside it is a large rambling place with some character. Personally I would not like to see it revamped and the room rate double.

United Kingdomthe windows are drafty, and even with the heating on full, the room got cold if the bathroom door was kept open, and the bathroom got very cold if the door was closed. the hot water took ages to start and water pressure was low generally (it’s an historic building with a lot of history and some of these are consequences of that). the TV was better than many hotels - but slight disappointment that HDMI ports not available to connect my own source to watch.
free parking and easy access. staff bent over backwards to be helpful. room was generous size, complete with fridge and microwave.

GermanyIt was a strange smell in this room. I wasn't able to rid it off. The light was an automatic one and turned off while I was under the shower.
This room had a good size, an iron station, a microwave and a fridge. All was in wooden and the curtains kept the light outside. They had a tea and coffee station in. The towels were all clean and the shower in a very good condition.

The hotel is looking a little tired, however the staff are friendly and when I popped out to a cafe for breakfast I got back to see the bed was made up with more tea bags and milk by the kettle
