The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was very easy to check in/out and order breakfast with their app. The accommodation is within 30 minutes steady stroll into York attractions, overall an excellent stay. We will be visiting again 🙂

Not centrally located in York. That wouldn’t have normally been an issue with us however weather was quite rainy and walking into town got us drenched a few times. Not the owner’s fault; just our bad choice of dates with respect to weather.

We had a lovely stay. The Host was very welcoming and the room was beautiful. Checking in was very easy and the breakfasts were piping hot and delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Bed was a too soft for me. That in many ways is a personal preference and should not detract from this experience.

A well made and tasty breakfast on offer. The bath in our room was a special addition and great to relax in after a long day exploring the beautiful York. The use of technology in the form of an app on your phone was very impressive and this enabled you to control your preferences without having to find staff to answer questions etc.

The Guest house as a whole was clean, very pleasant and gave quite a luxurious feel. Our room was wonderful, very clean and felt perfect. The owners and staff had a very personal approach- shows they care! There is an app for the guest house, that made navigating our stay just perfect! Could be singing praise for weeks!

We like everything about York, it is one of our favourite places to visit so would highly recommend. Every time I stay at York, I always stay at Tower Guest House, so highly recommend. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts are superb. Great value for money.

Nothing that I could remember, if I was to say anything it would be in the shower , slight mold around the bottom.Only 1 KitKat for two people.

Location was great, easy 10 minutes walk into centre. Breakfast was delicious, good quality ingredients,fresh fruit , overall a great breakfast. There was a coffee machine which you coul help yourself at ant time , plus plenty of tea/coffee in room. The owners were extremely welcoming , friendly and offered lots of information about York .

Not the hosts fault really, we had an issue getting the key code number, so we rang the door bell a couple of times, but no one answered the door for us to get in.

Breakfast was one of the best if not the best for cost of the booking, parking was included in the cost of the booking. The rooms were cleaned every day. Hosts were very polite and professional.

The rooms were finished to a high spec, very comfortable and clean. Hotel uses an online booking system which was clear and easy to use. The breakfast was great which can be tailored to what you want. The hotel has free parking on site. The owners are very helpful.

Loved everything will 100% return only thing I would improve is the blow-drys in the rooms not powerful for long thick hair but I wouldn't mark them down for that.

Exceptional rooms that have been designed to go above and beyond to give you the best experience. The host was wonderful and welcoming, and coming back after a long day out to a clean room was a pleasant surprise. They really did think of everything you might have needed. I was amazed by the amenities. I have never stayed somewhere so well thought out for the customer experience. The breakfast you can order how you like things on an app and the host brings it over for you it was incredible.

Hadn't realised the bath is part sunken into the floor so I wouldn't recommend it if you have arthritis and knee problems. We stayed in Room 5, which has 2 steps up to the bathroom and toilet leve, all in the same room. Floor is very slippery when wet from the shower, which is over the sunken bath, so make sure you use the bath mat. It's too small for two people unless you're a size 8 hahaha 😆 and very fit. But that's our problem. It hasn't put us off though, we will stay again, we will just choose a different room.

Lovely big room. Plenty of storage. Would love to stay again but in a different room with a shower cubicle. Diane and her hubby are amazing, and breakfast was lovely. Finishing touches to the room are very good, small fridge with fresh milk, kit kat, water and a couple of cans of drink as well, black out blind for side window. It was a four-poster bed we had never slept in one before lovely. Help yourself to hot drinks downstairs as well. She also makes cakes, but we didn't get to try any as we were out both days all day. A good walk into the town. We went with friends. And yes, we would love to stay there again. Please.x Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
