Rooms above the kitchen get a little warm.. Lots of smashed glass around the parking area.

Although it says parking is available to reserve, I didn’t get a response on the request through booking.com and couldn’t get through on the telephone on the one occasion I called. We were able to park on the street outside which luckily worked as we checked in late and parking is free after a certain time and on Sundays so it worked ok for us. Also no gluten free alternatives offered on menu and at breakfast only dairy milk, we asked and no alternative milk was available.

Great value for money and the onsite food was delicious (both in restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning). Staff were very accommodating

The wifi I found wasn't very good, while in the room we were staying in, we just couldn't get connected to the guest wifi at all. The bar downstairs is very lively, and although we couldn't really hear the bar too much whilst in our room during the day, there was a live singer booked for the night we stayed, which started at 9pm and sounded like very bad karaoke from in our room this was extremely loud, and sounded like the singer was actually in the room at times...this being said it didn't really bother us too much as my husband is a very heavy sleeper and i tend to wear ear plugs to help me sleep but it would have been nice to be informed of this at the time of booking, the bar got very lively and quite loud after 9pm so if travelling with children or looking for a quiet night of relaxation maybe this isn't the place for you or maybe checking before booking if they have any events on for the dates required...other than that the stay was very pleasant and we would likely stay again but we would definitely check before hand if there were any events planned.

The rooms were exceptionally clean beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could need...the beds very comfortable and a good size ...staff were friendly...food was amazing we had an evening meal which was beautifully prepared and very tasty...breakfast was the same beautifully prepared and couldn't fault it at all.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was surprisingly bigger than we thought, It was beautifully decorated and had a big bath and shower facilities. The bed was also very comfortable we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was also very good.we would definitely stay here again.

Our only issue is we were at the hotel 4 weeks ago and the TVs didn’t work, we reported it but never got fixed during the 3 days we were there. This time the TVs still didn’t work even after reporting it again. And neither time have they been interested in trying to put it right.

Great location for what we needed. Hotel and rooms very clean. Rooms very modern with comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast is cooked lovely and the breakfast server was friendly. Shower pressure is amazing!!

Nobody on reception. Had to wait 10/15 minutes to check in and nobody present to check out. In room TV did not work, no channels tuned in.

Brilliant stay - I arrived late and Darren the landlord was super welcoming, he served me a drink and then upgraded my room after hearing I’d had a bit of a drive. The room was as fantastic with a free standing bath in the room off of the bedroom with a. Huge mirror over-looking. The bathroom had a large walk-n shower. The bed was very comfortable and the whole decor was modern and tasteful. Would’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back.

Public parking is limited in the town, near the hotel. Not the hotels fault, but the local council needs to improve this.

We were attending a wedding nearby and hotel could not have been better located. The refurbishment has been completed to a very high standard. Staff were amazing and went that extra mile.

A minor point I had no bedside table and pillows a bit bumpy but it didn't spoil the overall stay. Perhaps a mention when booking that you might need to book evening meals when booking as we would have eaten there but there were no tables free. Pre-order breakfast not ideal. Would like to see some sort of fruit but still it was very good value and enjoyable.

Lovely rooms very clean. Excellent bar area and pool bar with snooker table. Restaurant available too. Staff very helpful. Beautifully decorated throughout cosy and comfortable. A great breakfast plenty of choice.
