The children’s menu wasn’t great. But the children’s roast dinner was lovely and staff were helpful editing the menu for us

The only thing that let this stay down was the view from our room. with such a beautiful location going to waste .

Lovely location right on the coast. Very clean and staff were excellent. Dinner was very pleasant good quick service and accompanied by some live jazz music made it a great experience.

View from the hotel room was awful, which was such a shame given the location. The menu in the restaurants was very limited Didn't like dogs in the restaurants from the hygiene and barking point of view. Completely unnecessary.

Loved having the spa facilities. Rest of family were staying in lodges which made the holiday tbh as the breakfasts for all of us would have been very expensive. The lodges were perfect

Beautiful setting and the spectacular foyer created a lovely ambiance. Loved the notices about the history of the building and all staff were very well presented and extremely helpful and polite. Look forward to seeing you again.

The pool was a bit small and you have to book certain times so it doesn't get overcrowded.

Staff were really friendly. The room was a reasonable size abs the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great value for money as we'd paid for it to be included in our break.

The internet connection was poor and required every time to connect with credentials - would be good to improve for the next guests.

Wonderful location, close to attractions such as Eden Project and the lost Garden of Heligan. Amazing breakfast, great staff and leisure facilities.

The weather was rubbish which was no one’s fault! So we didn’t get to see the grounds. But an excuse to come back.

Staff were so considerate and friendly. From the reception to the dining staff nothing was too much and everyone was lovely. Even gave us a free bottle of water and biscuits for our journey home. Had dinner there and food was great. The celebration package for my husbands birthday was amazing and definite value for money. We enjoyed the whole experience.

We had dinner and breakfast, food and service excellent. The cooked breakfast was a good selection and individually cooked for us. We had a luxury room which was quiet and spacious.

The evening meal was bland, limited in choice and expensive.

The size of our bedroom and bathroom was larger than anticipated, we also had a patio with chairs and table going out to the garden. Breakfast was laid out nicely, good variety for both English and Continental choices. Staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

The Sauna was too small and the gym suite a bit too full of machines. The Spa slot for families could be 1 hour and 30 to 2 hours long at least.

Great, spacious family lodge! Loved the breakfast and the atmosphere in the lounge. The Spa is nice and clean! I did not have the chance to try the restaurant as we went to eat outside with friends but the menu seemed to be good. The staff was very friendly and the location so peaceful!
