Thers wasn’t anything we didn’t like. An electric vehicle charging point would be nice but this is the case for all hotels

This is a beautiful property and the lovely staff/owners all made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I was very impressed by the meal and the extra touches that turned a delicious dinner into a real treat. This is something very rare in my experience. Will definitely plan to return

Room was a little dusty, which my missus felt slightly with her asthma, Bed wasn't to our comfort liking.

Do not think it warrants the 5* rating or is as good as it looks on the internet. The outside pathways are uneven and want resurfacing, the fences need painting, the lawn wants cutting and the flower beds weeding and tidying, bit sad on the exterior. It's is very expensive for the meals and drinks on top of a very high room rate. It was so hot in the bedrooms and a hotel of this price and calibre should be able to prove fans.The "green" night light is so bright it's hard to sleep. The room was lovely but we hardly slept in our three night stay due to light and heat as above.

The location, our room was quiet, very clean.The staff very nice. The meals were nicely presented Everyone was friendly and helpful and it was a very nice atmosphere.

A Highly enjoyable and relaxing stay in a beautiful country house with stunning views, delicious food and drink from attentive and friendly staff. From booking the communication was excellent about how to find the house. Etc. Spacious, light, clean and equipped room which was very quiet, despite being bank holiday weekend with high occupancy. Everything was well considered and meals ran very efficiently without stress. Whole team made me feel comfortable and confident about staying with newly diagnosed coeliac disease. We had dinner at the venue which was very good value, quality and beautifully presented. Very impressed

I don’t have a bad word to say about the property

The location of the property was perfect for the climb up Snowdon. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The house was kept really clean and my bedroom and the food was amazing. The large garden was very well maintained and a joy to walk around and the views of the surrounding areas

The drive up the property could be improved but it did not detract from my stay.

For an older country hotel the standard of maintenance was high. Nothing about the property was "tired". The staff were helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was well cooked . Didn't have an evening meal but I am sure it would have been of a similar standard. I would feel happy to recommend the property.

Room felt a little damp and would have benefitted from being aired and warmed before we arrived. Appreciate central heating off in summer months but given the atrocious weather some consideration in the circumstances might have been reasonable.

Room and bathroom was good sized and very clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was made to order and delicious. Decided to have dinner on-site and that was a great decision as the meal was just delicious.
